Our relaxing 11 room lodge has rustic elegance and is on 20 acres. It's 45 miles from NYC, "where the country begins". It has a hot tub, pool, multiple decks, private trail, organic garden, home office, & fireplace. 3 bedroom suites w/ 3 baths, & 3 single day beds, an Adirondack style great room with a massive fireplace & more. You’ll feel like you're at your own private resort. Hiking, biking, kayaking and Hudson Valley activities abound. 5 mins from Taconic Pkwy & 25 mins from Metro North. The space We believe, like many of our guests that you'll love the Lodge and its manicured grounds with beautiful views +a private hiking trail. It is a perfect place to reconnect with nature and your friends and family. We feel that the pictures tell a 1000 words :) Located in lovely Putnam County "where the country begins". Guest access You may access all areas of the home & property EXCEPT FOR SAFETY REASONS WE ASK YOU, OF COURSE NOT ENTER: -THE CARETAKER'S CABIN, which, is just to the side of the house, or use the parking spot adjacent to it. :) -THE VARIOUS STORAGE/GARDEN SHEDS that we have THE ATTIC OR THE BASEMENT. (If you need to go into the basement for breaker box, etc please contact us first. OTHER THAN THOSE PLACES LISTED ABOVE PLEASE ENJOY ALL THE PROPERTY HAS TO OFFER, WHICH AGAIN INCLUDES: the Lodge with a stone fireplace and 1 wood stoves, a hot tub, pool, hiking trail, an organic vegetable garden that you can pick from, multiple flower gardens, a nearby trout stream, a separate rustic cabin with a fireplace, and multiple decks for eating, enjoying nature, and napping. Please be respectful of the property, the parking areas and neighbors, as we love our lodge at Putnam Valley, and we hope you do as well. (Please make sure you& any guests do not accidentally go up the neighbors driveway, which is shared by us just at the beginning). Thank you & we hope you enjoy all the Lodge and area has to offer. Other things to note -We have two parking areas. One up by the side/back of the house(only avail for 1 car, and Additional Guests must park down on street level parking. *Please never drive up our neighbors paved 450 driveway they are very sensitive to that. Follow 444 signs. (We share just first part of the driveway.) -We have 3 queen beds : 2 Master Suites and the 3rd Master is in a separate TV Screening Room that has a Sleeper couch with down mattress pad, and closet. -We also have 3 single day beds (1 daybed in downstairs library for one person and there are 2 built in cushion beds upstairs in the "tree house room" that adjoins dressing room/1st Master Suite but best for naps. -The Pool 24ft round approx 5ft deep is (not heated) an is up above the house on the hillside about 150ft from the house. -Parties and events are not allowed. -Our Caretaker's cottage that is adjacent to the side of lodge, although its still private, is currently occupied by our wonderful caretaker. Please leave that parking for them. Thanks! They do not use the property while guests are at the Lodge just the cottage and their tiny area around it. -Street level Garage - This is where to put garbage and recycling and is down the steps and on street level). Garage is too small and not for cars.) :)
