The Lodge: A Hillside Estate 45 miles from NYC

You'll feel like you're at your own private resort w/ a pool, manicured grounds, hot tub, multiple patios to gather & dine at, private trail, gardens, massage chair & table, 2 offices & fireplace. Relax in an Adirondack inspired Great Room with a massive fireplace, 3 bedrooms & 3 baths + 3 single day beds. Hiking, biking, kayaking & Hudson Valley activities abound. 25 mins away from Cold Spring. 5 mins from Taconic Pkwy & 20 mins from the train. The space The Lodge nestled in on a wooded hillside has beautiful views and manicured grounds. There are three outdoor dining areas in addition to the formal indoor dining room. It is a perfect place to reconnect with nature, your family and friends. We feel that the pictures tell a 1000 words :) Located in lovely Putnam County "where the country begins". Guest access You will have private access to all areas of the Lodge & surrounding property EXCEPT for: -THE CARETAKER'S CABIN & PARKING AREA which, is just to the side of the Lodge but separated from the Lodge by a privacy fence. -THE VARIOUS STORAGE & GARDEN SHEDS -THE ATTIC & THE BASEMENT. (If you need to go into the basement for breaker box, etc please contact us first. Thank you! Other things to note -The Pool is 24 ft round and approx 5ft deep (not heated) and is up above the house on the hillside about a 150ft path from the house. The 2 gates around the pool can be locked. -There are two parking areas. One up by the side of the Lodge (avail for 2 cars), and Additional Guests must park down on the street level parking. -There are 3 queen beds : 2 Master Suites and the 3rd Master is in a separate TV Screening Room that has a Sleeper couch with down mattress pad, and closet. -We also have 3 single day beds (1 daybed in downstairs library for one person and there are 2 built in cushion beds upstairs in the "tree house room" that adjoins dressing room/1st Master Suite but best for naps. -The Caretaker's cottage is occupied by our wonderful caretaker Effraim. Please leave the parking on his side of the fence. He does not use the property while guests are at the Lodge just the cottage and the tiny area around it but he does help take care of the property and the pool. He is avail if there is a problem but should be communicated first through us. -Garage is at Street Level - THIS IS WHERE TO PUT GARBAGE & RECYCLING and is down the gravel path,. down the wood steps and on street level). The garage and not for cars as is a bit small for that. -Parties and events are not allowed.
