🏡 Create lasting memories at our cozy family friendly Payson holiday log cabin. Beautifully decorated for the Winter Holidays, it is perfect for families with kids - complimentary toys and a Pack 'n Play! Step inside to find a warm, welcoming retreat with its natural wood floor and vaulted ceilings. If more than six guests are interested, please message us. We have the beds but only one bathroom. The space Enjoy festive charm, roast klobasas over the large outdoor firepit and relax under the stars at this peaceful magical mountain retreat! Nestled among the pines but in town, you will enjoy peace, privacy, safety and cool mountain air – while being close to all the conveniences, events and charm Payson has to offer. We allow a full day between guests to clean and reset the cabin, so everything feels fresh and welcoming when you arrive. That is why we are able to offer a standard arrival time of 2 PM and departure by 12 PM. If you would like to arrive even earlier or leave a little later, just let us know, we will do our best to accommodate when possible. 🛏️ Sleeping arrangements Accommodates up to 8 guests, plus an infant in a Pack ’n Play. • 1 Queen bed (downstairs in master bedroom) • 1 Full sofa bed (living room) • 2 Twin beds (upstairs bedroom) • 2 Twin trundle beds (these are twin mattresses on the floor, one in master bedroom and one in play area, they can be moved around) • 1 Air mattress (in upstairs bedroom, can be moved around but use other beds before this one please) • 1 Pack ’n Play (bedding provided) 🛁 We only have one bathroom. Please plan accordingly. 🛁 👶 Family comforts Perfect for families with kids! Complimentary items may include a Pack 'n Play, baby bath, finger paints, bath toys, Mega Bloks, children’s dishes and utensils, books, board games, and twin-bed canopies. A small table with four chairs in the kids’ loft area can be moved downstairs for meals. It is our family vacation spot too, please feel free to ask for anything you might need. 🍽️ Kitchen and laundry A holiday-ready kitchen is stocked with all essentials: • Brand-new range oven (October 2025) with air fryer, conventional bake, and rotisserie - 24 inch: might not fit a large turkey. • Microwave with grill, toaster, fridge, freezer, and cookware • Premium dinnerware, cutlery, salt, sugar, pepper, foil, wraps, and paper goods • Moka Pot for coffee, sugar, sweetener, cream and coffee provided • Small and large roasting sticks for marshmallows, apples, sausages, and vegetables • Rustic wooden dining table for six plus two counter-height stools • No dishwasher yet (coming soon!) We provide paper plates and plastic utensils meanwhile as well. • Washer and dryer with detergent provided 🔥 Outdoor fun and cooking Step outside to enjoy the cool mountain air and night skies. • Large outdoor firepit for S’mores, apples, potatoes, or klobasas • Propane BBQ grill for easy outdoor meals • Newly built front and back decks (October 2025) perfect for relaxing or dining • Fenced backyard with dining for four; extra tables and chairs available for groups up to ten • Outdoor space heater Firewood and propane: • Firewood may be available, but supply varies. Nearby Walmart and local gas stations sell bundles. • Propane tanks under the grill may or may not be full depending on previous guest use. Feel free to refill locally for your own use. If tanks are missing or you need help, reach out to us. • The same applies to the backyard space heater. ❄️ Heating, cooling, and comfort • Mini-split units in every room provide both heating and cooling • Central electric heat for very cold nights • Electric fireplace inside for cozy evenings The upstairs loft offers a unique “sleeping under the stars” experience. When the mini-split is off, fresh mountain air flows naturally while warm deer-themed duvets keep you comfortable. For children, optional bed canopies help retain warmth, or you can simply keep the mini-splits on for a steady temperature. 🧺 Other amenities and essentials • Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, dish soup, detergent, cleaning supplies • Towels and bedding • Hair dryer, iron and ironing board • High speed Wi-Fi may occasionally be spotty in Payson though rarely experienced in our cabin • Electricity may go out in the area (rare but possible) • Large TV in the living room (no TVs in other rooms). No cable service. • Computer monitors available to connect to your PC for streaming • Fire and carbon monoxide detectors in every room • Fire extinguishers on each floor Guest access 🚗 Guest access and parking Guests have full access to the entire house except for: • Cleaning closets in the master bedroom (used for supplies) • Large outdoor shed (used for storage) Driveway parking: fits up to four to five standard vehicles, 2-3 trucks or an RV and two to three cars. A lockbox with the key will be provided; details are sent before arrival. Other things to note ⚠️ Safety and rules • Please use care on the stairs; they can be steep for little ones. Deck and yard steps may be slippery when sandy, snowy or wet. • Please remove shoes before going upstairs to keep floors clean for children who crawl or play there. • No cats or dogs are allowed due to a family pet allergy. Small pets such as bunnies or hamsters are permitted. Pets may not be left unattended inside the cabin or in the backyard at any time. Always check with us before bringing a pet. Pet fees will apply. Any unauthorized pets will incur an additional deep-cleaning fee. • Do not feed wildlife; elk feeding is illegal. • We have monthly pest control treatments but please know that you are in nature and there might be bugs, mosquitos, mice, lizards. • BBQ grill and campfire use are for responsible adults only. • No open flame inside the house. • Fire and carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout. • Cabin passed Payson Fire Department inspection and certification on October 29, 2025. • Hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings, and log construction throughout. • Fire restrictions: Please call the Town of Payson Fire Department or the Payson Ranger Station before starting any outdoor fire.
