Getaway Spa Retreat with Watsu Pool Blue Mountain

Relax in a stylish, rustic private open-plan studio with no separate rooms, featuring a luxurious round spa bath with jets, surrounded by lush garden greenery. Minutes from shops, cafés, restaurants, the train and beautiful bush walks. Enjoy a kitchenette, outdoor kitchen and garden seating. The host lives on the property. Optional signature Watsu warm water therapy, sauna and spa treatments for individuals and couples — perfect for a romantic escape, peaceful getaway or restorative retreat. The space Set within a lush, leafy property, the studio feels peaceful and tucked away while still being wonderfully convenient to local shops, cafés, restaurants, the train and beautiful bushwalks. The studio is a private, self-contained open-plan space, adjoining the owner’s main home along one solid brick wall. Sound does not readily travel through the brick wall, and with its own entrance and separate guest areas, the studio offers plenty of privacy. Please note that the studio is genuinely open plan: the beautiful round spa bath and toilet are within the same open space as the sleeping and living area, rather than in a separate bathroom. An additional freshly renovated shower and toilet are located outside the studio, across from the sauna in the private back garden. I live in the main house on the property, but often don’t see guests at all unless they need something or choose to book one of the Watsu, sauna or other wellness experiences available during their stay. Living with me are my fluffy cat and lovely elderly dog. They would most likely like to come and say hello. Please let me know if it is not suitable. Guest access Aside of your beautiful studio you are most welcome to use the outdoor kitchen, outdoor sitting area for dining and enjoying the private bushy garden out the back. You are most welcome to lit a nice fire in our fire pit and enjoy the well lit garden. Other things to note 🌿 Eco-Friendly Hot Water & Solar Our retreat uses an energy-efficient heat pump hot water system to help reduce our environmental impact. For the best spa experience, we recommend keeping showers short before filling the spa bath, as the bath requires a large volume of hot water. Alternatively, many guests enjoy the spa bath in the evening and shower the following morning. Thank you for embracing a more mindful and sustainable stay. To preserve the peaceful and restorative nature of the retreat, hard alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted on the property. I kindly ask all guests to respect the calm atmosphere so everyone can enjoy a truly relaxing experience. Please note Spa treatments are on offer. The heated mineral pool is dedicated exclusively for Watsu treatments. All treatments/ add-ons will have an additional cost, which can be discussed in booking time. There is also a small jewellery studio on the premises. the Jewellery is hand made by your host and all the designs are original, memorable and one of a kind.
