The space Unplugged | S-L-O-W living | Connection with nature and each other. 🏡 🛌 Inside Diggers cabin: - Calming green theme throughout the studio style cabin - 1 x lush king bed and 1 x single bed - Cosy indoor fireplace with chesterfield style couches around - 4 seat dining table - A kitchenette with hot plate, cups, plates, basic cooking utensils, bar fridge, kettle, sink and microwave - Water from the rainwater tank just outside the cabin. 🌳Outdoor Oasis Step outside to enjoy your private slice of countryside. Start your morning with birdsong and a warm drink as the sun rises over the treetops and mountains. End your day around the outdoor firepit under a canopy of stars. During the day you can ask to use one (or all!) of the outdoor games we have available for our guests, have a picnic by the dam, explore the 7 acre property or the Deua National Park. The entrance is right across the road from the property. Some of the many great attractions and trails including: - the 'big hole' (easy walking track but recommend reef shoes to cross the river) - the Shoalhaven river - Marble arch If you are staying for 2 or more days you can explore the beautiful historic town of Braidwood, just 30mins away that has a variety of cafe's and shops for you to peruse through. ✨ The vibe Think boutique bush retreat meets peace and comfort—designed for unplugged, slow and easy living, great sleeps, and meaningful moments. We look forward to hosting you at Dawn and Dusk Homestead. 🔥🪵Cosy stays: During the cooler months (June - Sept) we provide free firewood for our guests for the evenings (roughly 4hrs burning time) to help you stay nice and cosy. If you would like more firewood during your stay or outside of these months you can purchase it from us for $15 a bag. *Subject to any fire bans in place. Guest access Guests have access to 7 acres of the property, we will send a map of the homestead prior to your arrival. The bathroom is a shared amenities block with 2 showers and 3 toilets located closely outside the cabin. We have 2 other cabins on the 7 acres (available on Airbnb for booking as well). Only the 3 cabins on the property have access to these bathrooms. So just our wonderful guests at the homestead have access to the amenities block. If you have a larger group you are welcome to book all 3 cabins, we can accommodate 11 people in total. The property has a main house where the hosts live which is a fenced off area (seperate to the 7 acres). You can self-check in to the cabin, we will send the instructions on how to do so a couple days prior to your stay. Fur family members are welcome. We allow 1 dog per cabin. If you are planning on being away most of the day during your stay our lovely neighbours offer dog sitting services on their property, get in touch and ill pass on their details. We have 4G Telstra service available in the area. If you are with another service provider and don't get connection at the property, you can drive up the road a little further to get access. Unless you need anything prior or during your stay our interaction with guests is minimal. You may on the odd occasion see us taking our twins for a pram walk with our border collie pup!
