Ľudovít - our spacious two-room apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, located in the heart of Modra – perfect base for discovering the charm of Slovakia’s wine capital. Whether for a wedding, wine tasting or a relaxing getaway, the bedroom with a king-size bed and blackout curtains ensures restful sleep. The space Vila Horná is a family-run space located in the historic center of the wine town of Modra. It offers two charming city apartments – Adela and Ľudovít – perfect bases for discovering the beauty of our town. For special occasions, we also open a third apartment – our private home. Spacious, stylish, and fully equipped, it’s a cozy retreat we occasionally share with guests during our absence. Apartment Ľudovít is a bright and spacious apartment designed for up to 5 guests. Whether you're visiting Modra with family, friends, or for a romantic getaway, you'll feel right at home in this well-appointed retreat. The entrance to Vila is directly from the street that winds through the historic center. You’ll be welcomed by a shared entry hall with cozy seating – a great spot to relax after your journey or while waiting to explore the town. A light-filled staircase leads you to the entrance of Apartment Ľudovít (next to its "friend," Apartment Adela). In the hallway, you'll find plenty of space to hang coats and a mirror for last-minute touch-ups. A chest with extra pillows is available for added comfort. The main living area features a full-size sofa bed and an extra armchair – perfect for relaxing with a book or sharing a bottle of wine. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for cooking, including a stovetop, oven, fridge, dishwasher, and coffee station. The spacious bedroom includes a king-size bed with blackout curtains for restful sleep. There's also a cozy single sleeper sofa, perfect for a child or extra guest. One of the highlights of Apartment Ľudovít is the large bathroom with a romantic bathtub – ideal for winding down after a day exploring Modra’s vineyards and cobbled streets. Fast Wi-Fi, thoughtful amenities, and plenty of space make this apartment perfect for both short getaways and longer stays. 🧾 Important information: – Upon arrival, you’ll need to fill in guest registration details and pay a local accommodation tax of €1 per person per night, in accordance with city regulations (cash payment at check-in). – In the apartment, you'll find a selection of local wine and souvenirs available for purchase. Prices are listed, and payment can be left in cash on the table. Guest access The entrance to the villa is from the main street, and the entry hall with staircase is shared. All rooms within the apartment, including your private bathroom, are for your exclusive use. We operate with self-check-in, so you can arrive anytime after 2:00 PM (including later in the evening). The keys will be waiting in a lockbox at the well-lit villa entrance. Before your arrival, we’ll send you all the important check-in and stay information, including the lockbox code.
