Villa Blue Mandala, with private pool!

Villa Blue Mandala is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. It is located in a peaceful and quiet location, while still being central and close to all those beautiful beaches (15 min from Mambo beach en Jan Tiel). The house has a spacious garden with a beautiful palapa and verandah- so plenty of options where you can spend the lovely warm evenings (bbq included!). BONUS: From november 2025 there will also be a private swimming pool!! The space The beautiful vacation home "Villa Blue Mandala" with private pool can be found at the small-scale Santa Catharina Resort. Because the Santa Catharina Resort consists of about thirty vacation homes and the Santa Catharina neighborhood is very quiet, Villa Blue Mandala offers the ideal conditions to unwind completely! The ideal way to enjoy a wonderful vacation on tropical Curaçao! The resort is spacious and secured by an electronic gate. Together with the other guests of the resort, you share the large swimming pool with many berths, where you can swim laps to your heart's content. It is 15 x 5 meters and is 30 meters from Villa Blue Mandala.  On clear days, the neighboring island of Bonaire can even be seen from this pool deck. Due to the small size of the resort, it is almost always quiet at this pool, and it is not even inconceivable that you will have the pool all to yourself every now and then! Since outdoor life is central to Curaçao, Villa Blue Mandala has a lot of outdoor living space. At the front of the house is a small terrace with a seating area, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sun. On the side of the house is a large porch with a spacious dining table. Adjacent to the porch is a palapa with lounge area. This palapa is a pleasantly cool place in the shade during the day and in the evening the ideal space to have a drink and play games!  From the veranda, you have a nice view of the pool. And the nice thing is, you don't have to share it with other people in the park! All to yourself or your company. How nice is that... Adjacent to the Santa Catharina Resort is the Koraal Tabak nature reserve. This area is great for a nice hike, a challenging mountain bike ride, or to see the rugged north coast of Curaçao! Located 5 minutes away is the Sint Jorisbaai, the place in Curaçao for water sports such as kite surfing and windsurfing. The nearest supermarket "Toko Seru Pretu" is already 2 minutes (1.2km) away from the resort. One of the larger supermarkets on the island are; "Mangusa Hypermarket" and "Mahaai Centrum" both can be reached by car within 10 minutes. The tourist beaches of Jan Thiel and Mambo Beach are only 15 minutes away from the resort. Tired of the crowds? Then you return to the pleasant tranquility of the Santa Catharina Resort! Just want to do nothing, read a nice book on a beautiful beach, relax in the pool or enjoy a tasty cocktail? Then you are in the right place at Villa Blue Mandala! Before you book, read the other information so that you are aware of everything the house has and does not have to offer.  Everyone is welcome with us, from young to old. However, there are a number of things to keep in mind. In the immediate vicinity, people also live permanently or come for a longer period of time. Consideration should be given to the neighbors so that no noise nuisance arises. Especially in the late evening and at night, it is not allowed to play loud music, or to communicate loudly. You rent the house for your party. Visits are possible in consultation. However, it is not permitted to let people stay overnight without consultation. Apart from the fact that Curacao always has nice weather on offer, (sometimes with a short shower), there is so much more to discover! On Curacao, a lot of communication is done via Facebook; take a look at pages like “Events curaçao” “Best things to do in curacao” “Curaçao Vacation tips” Of course, Google also provides the necessary information. Guest access You can use the whole house. You rent the house alone or for your party. You don't need to share anything with other guests. So you have all the privacy! Other things to note The 7% tourist tax is included in the price. So you don't have to pay this separately. The towels that are provided in the house should NOT be taken to the beach, but to the pool. So bring your own beach towels if you plan to visit the beautiful beaches. As Electricity and Water is very expensive on the island, a deposit of €350.00 to 2 weeks is due. If you stay longer than 2 weeks, there will be €175.00 each week. (or €25.00 per night). This deposit will be requested from you via a payment request via Airbnb to accept it. When booking, you will be asked to pay the deposit, so you do not have to travel with a large cash amount. The meter reading takes place at the beginning and end of the stay and the unused amount is refunded. This will be returned to you within 7 days. If the deposit is not sufficient, you can get an after account. You have complete control of how expensive the water and electricity will be. Leave the air conditioning all day or only use it if you really need it. In this way, the costs are fairly discounted. The house is lovely on the wind, with a fan and the windows open it is often enough to get the space cool enough to sleep comfortably. Both bedrooms have a fan at their disposal. In the living room, there is a 3rd fan. You are expected to leave all dishes, oven, microwave and BBQ clean. Turns out it's not clean will be deducted €50.00 extra from the deposit. The tap water in Curacao is safe to drink, is distilled from seawater and meets the highest quality standards of the World Health Organization (WHO).
