Historic 1800s Sunday Haus, 2 blks to Main St

Charming old pioneer Sunday house built in 1881 is walking distance to all the shops, museums, night life, and restaurants Main Street has to offer. This home is bursting with charm and antiques and offers a cozy and inviting feeling for your stay! The house was originally a two room rock home used by pioneers that would come to town by horse and buggy for the weekend. Over the years, this house has been added on to to accommodate two charming bedrooms and bathrooms. The space One bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has a queen sized bed. One bathroom has a shower and bathtub and the second bathroom has a small shower only. **Please note that there is no hallway, so one must pass through the first bedroom to get to the second bedroom. The kitchen is filled with charming antiques but has all the modern amenities you need for eating in. The house has private, off street parking that holds 4 vehicles. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine on the front porch rocking chairs or in the private backyard! As much as we love children and pets, this home is not child proof or pet friendly. It is not appropriate for small children, pets, or handicapped. Hoerster Haus is subject to City of Fredericksburg STR Ordinance Compliance, guests at any Short-Term-Rental in the City of Fredericksburg must comply with the following: • Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10 PM to 7 AM) • The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light. • Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces. • Place all trash in designated containers. Host Rules: - Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance. - If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time: 1st Offense will result in a $500 fine. 2nd Offense will result in a $1000 fine. If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $1500 fine, even if no citation is issued. Guests will receive property address and access information the day before check-in. Other things to note This home was built in the 1880s and comes with the quirks of an old home. There are a few small steps (2” or so) into the bathroom/bedrooms. This home is not ADA accessible. It is not uncommon in the Hill Country to encounter wildlife such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, possum, birds, snakes, etc. We ask that you always be aware of your surroundings while outside. We utilize scheduled pest control services with all our of properties, but we are unable to guarantee that any bugs or pests will not be seen during your stay. Please let us know if you encounter any ants, scorpions, spiders, cockroaches, mice, or snakes so we can arrange for additional services.
