The space This large and extremely comfortable 2-bedroom apartment has just been renovated and will be your home in the heart of downtown Newport. It is the garden apartment of a historic evangelical church which we have converted in to our home. The apartment is just 2 short blocks to the waterfront restaurants, wharves, and marinas, and a short stroll to Bellevue Avenue boutiques, mansion tours, beaches, the world-famous Cliff Walk, Goat Island, The International Tennis Hall of Fame, St Mary's Church, and the farmer's market. Your location couldn't be better. You will have the entire home and complete privacy. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds complete with linens. Enjoy modern finishes, cool concrete flooring that stays cool throughout the summer and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Guests love the lower level of our church as it's completely private and modern. It's the perfect place to come for the summer to enjoy the beaches or if you are attending the Naval College for a period of time. We have kept our pricing extremely reasonable for you. Other things to note There are two best ways to get to Newport from New York City. The fastest is Amtrak either to T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Providence (and then Cozy Cab runs a timed shuttle to Newport from the airport) or to Kingston, RI (and then get a public bus from Kingston to Newport). Megabus and Peterpan also run services from NYC to Newport or Providence. The closest airports if flying are Providence or Boston.
