Meadow Suite | Mountain Views & Sauna
Meadow Suite | Mountain Views & Sauna
Description
A studio apartment inside a historic Vermont estate — floor-to-ceiling mural, king bed, mountain views of the Worcester Range, antique furnishings, a mid-century kitchen with bones intact, a fire pit at the edge of the terraced yard where it drops toward the field, and an outdoor sauna with reserved sessions. Boyer State Forest trail access from the door. 12 minutes from Montpelier, 43 from Stowe, 41 from Sugarbush The space Step inside and the room opens around you. A floor-to-ceiling landscape mural covers the full wall to your left — open rolling hills, long Vermont sky — and straight ahead, through the window above the dining table, the Worcester Range fills the view. The room is ringed by windows and feels genuinely open. The living area centers on a low linen sofa and a glass-and-leather coffee table. In the corner by the antique writing desk, an ornate milk glass lamp on a bronze base gives the room its evening quality. Behind a lattice screen divider, a king bed occupies its own corner, flanked by round antique nightstands with leather tops and small drawers. Bedside lamps include USB charging ports. The kitchen is mid-century and makes no apology for it — white metal cabinets, green walls, porcelain sink. A washer and dryer are tucked in. The bathroom carries the same vintage character: blush pink fixtures, sky blue tile. Out the back door, two Adirondack chairs and a fire pit sit at the edge of the terraced yard where it drops toward the field, the Worcester Range in front of you. An outdoor wood sauna sits on the stone patio just outside, facing the same Worcester Range view you have from your window — low string lights around the patio, two teak loungers for cooling down between rounds. It seats four on two-tiered benching with interior lighting and a full glass door. In winter, the snow is right there — step out, roll in it, go back in. That's the whole point. The sauna is shared between both Boyer Estate properties and reserved exclusively online — your session is private, with no overlap from other guests. Booking details sent to confirmed guests before arrival. The Meadow Suite is a ground-floor apartment inside the main house of Boyer Estate. There is a separate cottage on the other side of the garage — you may occasionally see those guests outside, and from inside the house you may occasionally hear us going about our day. Heat is controlled via a thermostat in the unit. AC via an ultra-quiet heat pump window unit. A Roku TV with guest mode is available for your streaming accounts. Dedicated workspace with desk and chair. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, and utensils. A drip coffee maker with complimentary coffee, tea, creamers, and sugar is ready and waiting. 100% cotton sheets, full towels, and all bathroom and kitchen essentials provided. Guest access You'll access the suite via keypad — your door code will be sent prior to arrival. A Ring doorbell is located at the front door of the house if you need to reach us directly. The apartment is entirely yours for your stay, with your own private entrance. Guests are welcome to use the back yard, fire pit, and Boyer State Forest trails directly from the property. Other things to note The property is situated on a dirt road. In winter (December through March) expect snowpack and occasional icy patches — AWD or 4WD with snow tires or quality all-season tires is strongly recommended. Most guests with appropriate vehicles have no issues. During Vermont's mud season (typically late March through early May), a portion of the road the property is on will close. This does not affect arrival from the interstate, which is how most guests will be coming. Full routing details are included in your pre-arrival message after booking. This is a strictly pet-free property. We maintain this standard to ensure every guest arrives to a clean, hair-free, allergen-free space. We conduct thorough inspections between every stay. Undisclosed pets will result in an additional deep-cleaning fee charged through Airbnb's resolution center and may affect your guest standing.
