Step outside to an expansive outdoor space complete with a fire pit, conversation patio set, propane grill, hot tub, and outdoor dining table. Inside, every detail was custom built and designed with comfort in mind. Cozy up by the wood-burning stove, stream your favorite shows on the 55” TV, or enjoy a candlelit meal at the dining table or kitchen bar. Though compact, the kitchen is thoughtfully equipped for home-cooked meals, featuring a stove, microwave, full fridge and freezer (bring a little extra ice!), and dishwasher. The main bedroom downstairs offers a plush king bed, personal mini-split for climate control, and TV. The bathroom includes a spacious shower with a window framing glimpses of the natural surroundings. Upstairs, the loft bedroom features a queen bed and sweeping views through the cabin’s a-frame windows. The area surrounding The Nest is rich with wildlife, fresh air, and peace, ideal for slow morning walks along the private road or a 10-minute drive to the quiet beach at Kentucky Lake. The Nest is conveniently located just 1.5 hours from Nashville and 40 minutes from Dickson, Tennessee. The nearby town of Waverly offers a charming downtown with antique shops, a cozy coffee spot, a bar, movie theatre, and a few local restaurants — including our favorite, Las Palmas, for casual, flavorful Mexican fare. Essentials like Walmart and Tractor Supply are only a 20-minute drive down Highway 70, and there’s a marina about 30 minutes away if you’re bringing a boat.
