Giatrelos House "3 km from Shipwreck"

We are 3 km from the famous Shipwreck of Zakynthos. In the same area you will find the Monastery of Agios Georgios of Krimna and the mosaic workshop that the monks of the Monastery operate today. At 6-9 km from the accommodation, there are the Blue Caves, there near secluded caves to the Shipwreck, the endangered monk seal Monachus Monachus finds shelter. To visit them you need to rent a boat and at the same time you will enjoy swimming. The space Giatrelos House, 3 km from Shipwreck, is a 36 sq.m. house, completely renovated in 2025, at your disposal, with a bedroom, bathroom and a single living room, dining room and kitchen area. In the bedroom there is a double large bed with a new comfortable mattress made in 2025, a wardrobe, where you can find extra sheets, towels, hair dryer, electric iron, mini ironing board, etc. In the open-plan kitchen-living room there is a sofa and TV, board games (decks of cards), books, to spend your hours of rest and entertainment pleasantly. In our full kitchen there is a new electric stove with an oven and all the utensils (pot, pan, baking pan, briquettes, strainer, cheese grater, etc.) to cook. We provide you with an electric kettle to make your drinks, a coffee maker for espresso - cappuccino coffee, a toaster for your toast and a refrigerator at your disposal. Also, dishes, cutlery, glasses, mugs and a table with chairs to sit and enjoy your drink or food. Air conditioning and Internet that you can use for free for your comfortable stay. In our bathroom you will find shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash, there is also a washing machine that you can use for free to wash your clothes. We also provide you with our newly upgraded courtyard, with a table and armchairs. There you can relax, sunbathe and admire some of the family's restored vessels and utensils that have a lifespan of over 100 years. Guest access In a quiet neighborhood in the center of Volimou Village, where our accommodation is located, at 60 m there is the historic traditional church of Agia Paraskevi, at 40 m the stone-built traditional church of Agios Theodosis where visitors can admire their decoration, their wonderful hagiographies, their wooden and stone-built iconostasis. At 60 meters from our accommodation, there is a Mini Market where you can get the necessities, A coffee shop to enjoy your coffee - soft drink, at 150 m. there is a bakery to buy and enjoy traditional bread and the famous rusks of Volimes. Next to the bakery there are restaurants to dine and shops that have textiles, knitwear, ceramics with the taste and passion of the Volimian people to buy souvenirs of your vacation. We renovated this place to keep alive the presence of our parents, who a few years ago, spent their lives here creatively.
