It closes strictly at 9pm. Check in is 4pm and later, and check out is 10am and earlier, with early check in available for a small fee but cannot be reserved until 24h before arrival and only then if the cleaning schedule allows for it. Like nearly all homes in Estes, this cabin has no air conditioning. Portable fans are provided, and mountain breezes cool things down quickly each evening. *** THANKS FOR READING! *** A perfect mountain cabin getaway in the peaceful Solitude Cabins community. This charming retreat offers the ideal blend of comfort and wilderness, with a wraparound deck that overlooks a small area where elk and deer frequently graze. The cabin feels more secluded than others in the community while remaining just steps from convenient parking. The wraparound deck features stunning views toward Lumpy Ridge and the Continental Divide, complete with a picnic table seating six and a gas BBQ grill. Wildlife viewing is exceptional from the comfortable deck seating. Inside, you'll find a welcoming mountain cabin atmosphere with riverstone gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful amenities throughout. BEDROOMS Upstairs Bedroom: King bed with en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, and smart TV Downstairs Bedroom: King bed with ceiling fan, smart TV, and semi-private bathroom access via connecting door Sleeping Area: Murphy bed in living room provides additional sleeping space for extra guests BATHROOMS Upstairs Bathroom: Full en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower serving the primary bedroom Downstairs Bathroom: Full bathroom tub/shower combination, accessible from downstairs bedroom and hallway LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT The open-concept living area features a stunning riverstone gas fireplace, comfortable seating for five, smart TV with streaming services, high-speed WiFi, games, and reading materials. The space flows seamlessly into the dining area with mountain cabin decor throughout. In-unit washer and dryer. KITCHEN & DINING Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, electric stove and oven, microwave, and extensive cookware. Both Keurig and drip coffee makers provided. Dining table seats four comfortably with additional seating at the breakfast bar. Large windows provide natural light and forest views while dining. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park's vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Gas is OK. ROAD CONDITIONS Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there's a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area! GUEST COUNT 6 people max. BEARS Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in! A/C Like nearly all homes in Estes Park, there is no air conditioning. Evening breezes coming off the mountains cool the home quickly.
