Welcome to our characteristic Spanish house 🏡 "Lagar de Cuchara," in Colmenar, where tranquility 🕊️, nature 🌿, and sun ☀️ blend seamlessly with comfort. It is situated on the edge of the "Montes de Malaga" nature reserve 🌄. Step onto our spacious terrace 🌞 and enjoy the plunge pool 🏊, lounge areas, and outdoor kitchen. The house accommodates four guests. Enjoy the spacious and fully equipped kitchen/diner, a cozy living room with terras, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The region has a rich Moorish history 🕌, still visible in the many charming white villages, including the unique mountain village of Comares 🏞️, which can be seen from our location. Lagar de Cuchara is located 15 min. outside Colmenar 🚗, towards Solano, along a 3 km unpaved road 🌿 with the last 800 meters off-road (see photo 📸). Drive slowly then it is doable. Originally an olive press 🫒, El Lagar is surrounded by beautiful old olive trees 🌳—an oasis of tranquility and Spanish tradition. The guest house is on our private estate but offers full privacy 🕊️. Inside you’ll find: ✨ A cozy country kitchen/diner 🍴 with all amenities. ✨ A comfortable living room with authentic details 🪞, air conditioning ❄️, TV 📺 and internet 📶. ✨ Two cool double bedrooms 🛏️🛏️ (160x200 & 140x200 cm) with wooden shutters 🪟. ✨ A spacious bathroom 🚿 with sink, shower, toilet, towels, and toiletries 🧴. Guest access Guests enjoy access to our terrace 🌺 and the "Plunge & Lounge Pool" 🏊, including a children’s pool 👶💦. By the outdoor kitchen 🍳 you’ll find a large dining table 🍷🍴 for meals or games 🎲. Several terraces 🌿 offer cozy corners to retreat and relax 😌. A gate 🚪 opens into the campo with olive trees 🌳, perfect for a stroll or enjoying authentic Spanish views 🇪🇸. Ample parking 🚘 is available, secured at night 🌙, with CCTV 📹 for safety. Other things to note Your experience is very important to us. An old Dutch saying goes:💬 “If you have a complaint, tell us. If you’re happy, tell others!” 🌱 Together, we must care for our environment, so be frugal with water 💧 and use electricity ⚡responsibly. Only use the air conditioning or heating when absolutely necessary. The cost of your electricity consumption could be billed to you afterward. 🔥 Open fires and traditional barbecues are officially prohibited in the Campo from May 1st to the end of October due to drought and fire hazards. 🚭 Smoking is permitted on the large terrace and on the small seating area by the house. Smoking and open fires are also prohibited due to the risk of forest fires. 🧯 A first aid kit, fire extinguishers, and a smoke alarm are available in the guesthouse. 🐾 Pets are not permitted due to the presence of our "Leon" and the open nature of the property to prevent your dog from running away. 🐕.
