A charming, standalone apartment in the picturesque village of Avise: a quiet and strategic location from where you can easly reach ski resorts in winter and mountain destinations for summer hikes: 30mins from Aosta and Pila (cable car start), 25mins from Pré-Saint-Didier Thermal Baths in, 40mins from Courmayeur and La Thuile, and just over 1h from Cervinia. The apartment has private, independent access and is spread over two levels: an open-plan space on the upper level housing the kitchen (fully equipped) and the living room (with a sofa bed), and a fully fitted bathroom with a washing machine and shower, plus a bedroom with a double bed, on the lower level. There is a nice open space in front of the flat, with a barbecue (summer only), and a free public parking just 20 metres away (in winter, ONLY IN THE EVENT OF SNOWFALL, the access road to the car park in front of the accommodation is temporarily closed. In this case, you can use a free public car park 150 metres from the accommodation). DUCREST apartment is situated in Avise: a picturesque medieval village of just 300 inhabitants, in the heart of the Aosta Valley, off the beaten track, which still preserves its two castles (not open to the public), its characteristic stone-paved alleyways, and a very peaceful and authentic atmosphere. Situated along the main route leading on one side towards Aosta (around 30 mins) and on the other towards Courmayeur (around 40 mins) and Mont Blanc, the DUCREST apartment is an extremely strategic and convenient base for exploring the whole of the Aosta Valley without having to travel too far to reach: - SKI RESORTS (La Thuile 40 mins; Pila cable-car 30 mins; Cervinia just over 1 hour); - SPA RESORTS (Pre-Saint-Didier thermal baths approx. 20 mins; Saint-Vincent thermal baths approx. 40 mins); - CASTLES (Saint-Pierre, Sarre, Aymavilles approx. 15 mins).
