Charming, spacious turn-of-the-century farmhouse on 2 acres in a great rural neighborhood. This light-filled home is in a wonderful parklike setting near the Rogue River and just minutes from historic downtown Grants Pass. The space This two-story home is tastefully remodled and clean with attention to detail. The upstairs has three large bedrooms and one other small bedroom with a twin bed or play for the children. There is a beautiful bathroom with Italian glass tile floor, new fixtures and a vintage clawfoot tub for bathing. Downstairs is a large living room, modern kitchen with dishwasher and stainless appliances. The downstairs bath has a modern sink, slate tile floor and shower. French windows throughout offer summer breezes and beautiful pastoral country views. In winter it's a cozy warm retreat with central heat. The mature garden with many trees is peaceful with plenty of room to play for the whole family. The house is furnished simply but comfortably in a contemporary country style. The linens and towels are 100 cotton. There is Wi-Fi and a TV with Netflix only. Guest access You will have access to the entire house which includes, living room, kitchen, two baths (one downstairs with shower and upstairs has an old claw foot tub for bathing only). Three bedrooms and one extra room upstairs, the yard, fields, and four porches. I stay in a separate studio on the property, when guests are in the house. Other things to note NEARBY ACTIVITIES Hellgate Jetboats on the Rogue, kayaking, rafting, swimming, and salmon and steelhead fishing. Rental of one week or more includes discounts for guided fly fishing on the Rogue. Golf courses, wine tasting, miles of hiking and biking trails, great restaurants, natural food stores, and yoga classes. Great coffee houses and lots of drive-thru espresso shops. The best Saturday farmer's market in Oregon. The world-renowned Wildlife Images (an animal rehabilitation sanctuary), horse racing, the Memorial Day Boatnick Festival. Nearby are the Oregon caves, redwoods, coastal beaches, Mt. Ashland (snowboarding, skiing), Crater Lake, Ashland Shakespeare Festival, historic Jacksonville and The Britt Performing Arts Festival.
