One of the original farmhouses on the mountain, this home sits on 17 acres and has been lovingly renovated yet maintains a wealth of rustic charm. The well-appointed interiors, the stunning wrap-around porch, the variety of on-site entertainment options, and the close proximity to local attractions (walking distance to Zoom Flume Water Park or a short drive to the ski resorts of Windham and Hunter and the towns of Catskill and Hudson) set the stage for an amazing Catskills getaway. The space The property totals 17 acres, including woods to explore, a wide lawn to relax, a bluestone patio for outdoor dining with a grill/smoker, a playground, tree swing, fire pit and bocce court. The large wrap-around porch is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails. Once booked, you'll have access to the extensive trip planning guide and host recommendations for getting the most out of your time in the area (and having some incredible foodie experiences along the way). The property is just a short drive to the charming, activity-packed towns of Catskill, Hudson, Windham and Hunter, and a quick walk to Zoom Flume for an escape from the summer heat. Because of the home's natural setting and the fact that we rely on beautiful screened-in windows and the fresh country air to cool the home, you may encounter the occasional (harmless) insect during your stay. Guest access The entire home and surrounding acreage are available to enjoy during your stay, with the exception of the barn and the house basement which are off-limits to guests. You are welcome to bring your own shoes and connect to your Peloton account to utilize the bike provided. Other things to note While AWD and 4WD is always recommended when traveling in this area during winter, the house is easily accessible with regularly plowed driveways and well-maintained town roads leading to it.
