Island View (what a sunset!)
Description
A truly unique North Devon getaway – the perfect escape with the dog (and family!) to find yourself again. Explore country lanes from the house, the nearby SW Coast Path, or even a bracing dip (or surf!) at the nearby dog-friendly, sandy Westward Ho! beach. Finish the day with a pint or great food in the cosy, dog-friendly village Thatched Inn and you’ve got a recipe for great memories. On the right day the balcony sunsets are truly stunning! This eco home sleeps 8 and comes with an EV charger. The space Beds - the crucial bit! There are 2 double bedrooms, both with stunning windows. One room then has the cabin bed with an additional mattress underneath (our favourite sharing space for our kids) and the room in the eaves has 2 twins which can be made into a double. All of these rooms are upstairs. Bedding and towels are included. There is a travel cot available. The kitchen has a large fridge-freezer which is plumbed in, providing an ice maker and the kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. There is a high chair available. The living room has a TV for guests to use and there is wifi throughout. There is an office space for people to use if required. The upstairs has space for a pool/ table tennis table and there are board games in the living room. The outdoor shed has some garden games and beach toys. The garden is surrounded by fields on 2 sides which are often grazed by sheep from the nearby Big Sheep attraction (5 minutes walk). The garden room is a tranquil space and there is seating to let you eat outside and swings for all ages to enjoy! Or, as the sunset kicks in over the top of Lundy Island, feel free to enjoy the balcony and soak in the peace and quiet. Other things to note - Well behaved dogs are welcome but please let us know in advance. - This is a no-smoking property.
