Family Lakefront Cottage

For a perfect lakefront getaway, look no further than our home away from home on Rushford Lake. Featuring a private dock for fishing and swimming, kayak/canoe, large back yard & spacious upper deck to sit and watch the sunset. NOTE: Rushford Lake is drawn down approx. 40 ft. each fall/winter. Beginning the first week of October through second week of May, the water is down (no swimming, boating, etc.) However, fall is a beautiful time on the lake & we've even seen folks out ice fishing! The space Main Floor: 1 Open Kitchen w/ fridge, stove, oven, beverage fridge, microwave, large island for gathering 1 Living Room w/ pullout couch & TV 1 King Bedroom w/ 1 private Full bathroom & TV 1 Queen Bedroom w/ pack & play, air mattress 1 Full Bathroom (shared space) with tub/shower Loft Shared Space: (accessible via spiral staircase in living room) 1 King Bed 1 Queen Bed 1 Twin Bed 1 Toddler Bed Outside: Large upper deck with dining table and wooden rocking chairs Private dock for fishing, swimming, etc. Firepit (bring your own firewood) Canoe, kayaks available for your use Parking for 3 vehicles Guest access Guests have access to the main house and loft, backyard, outdoor storage area containing canoe/kayaks, and dock during their stay. Guests do not have access to the locked lower garage area. Other things to note IMPORTANT: Rushford Lake is drawn down approximately 40 feet each fall/winter. The Lake draw down usually begins the first week of October each year and generally fills back up by the second week of May. Therefore you will NOT be able to utilize the lake for swimming, boating, etc. in the offseason. Please reach out with any questions about the property or to request additional accommodations.
