The property may accommodate limited private celebrations, receptions, family reunions, and similar special events. These activities are intended to remain secondary to the primary retreat, educational, wellness, and sanctuary functions of the property. The Forest Estate is designed to preserve and enhance the natural forest environment while providing opportunities for personal reflection, education, recreation, community engagement, and stewardship of the land. The project is intended to operate in a manner that minimizes impacts on surrounding properties and remains consistent with the rural and forest character of the area. The property utilizes potable delivered water for guest and retreat-related water needs. *We also offer several special occasion requests! Don’t hesitate to contact us with any requests you may have. Guest access Private access. The property also hosts dogs. Note: the outdoor shower is at times closed for the winter dependent on acclimate weather. To protect water quality, soil conditions, and the natural environment, the use of shampoos, conditioners, soaps, detergents, or other personal care products at the outdoor rinsing station is strictly prohibited. The rinsing station is intended for clean-water rinsing only. The operation of the water and wastewater systems is intended to support the low-impact nature of the retreat while preserving the surrounding forest environment and minimizing impacts to natural resources. Other things to note The Forest Estate Cabin The Forest Estate cabin is a cozy retreat nestled on 24 acres of privately gated woodland. Guests will have access to the lower land surrounding the cabin, while the owners’ privacy is kindly appreciated. Enjoy exploring the property’s scenic trails, ponds, little lake, and river. Fishing is permitted at the Little Lake, though please note it requires proper attire such as waders, and fishing gear is not provided. Additional features include RV parking and convenient dog-friendly amenities. For guests traveling with pups, dog-waste stations are located throughout the property for proper disposal. The cabin’s bathroom is just a few steps away in its own private bathhouse, designed with a spa-like feel. The bathhouse includes a soaking tub with a handheld shower head. Please note there is no indoor walk-in shower other than the outdoor shower that is ONLY used for rinsing off before and after sauna use. No shampoo, conditioner or soaps are to be used outside. The bath house has a bath tub with handheld shower head.
