Shankar Bhawan is a small, family-managed home where every detail is cared for with intention. At Shankar Bhawan, I believe a stay should feel like home, warm, welcoming, and personal. I grew up in a house where every guest - whether family, friend, or traveller, was welcomed with a glass of water, a hot cup of chai, and something light to eat. That small act of care stayed with me, and it's now at the heart of how I host :) You’ll likely arrive to fresh water, a light snack, and a welcome that feels like home. ▪️ House Rules: 🚫 This is not a party place. 🚭 No smoking indoors, no alcohol ☒, and no non-vegetarian food ☒ (Rishikesh is a dry zone where non-veg is legally restricted). 👥 For safety and comfort, we do not host teenagers or very young guests unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
