The Cedars is a cozy, one level, 3-bed 2-bath custom built log home, nestled on 47-acres of woodland in Harbourville. We offer a fully equipped house which is dog friendly and has a 40x10 covered porch, an outdoor firepit and a six-person hot tub. The space Designed by Riverbend Log Homes, our custom log home is nestled on the top of North Mountain in Harbourville. Most of the property is woodland and left to nature. The house is one level and offers an open plan kitchen/dining and living area. Large windows and a cathedral ceiling in the main living area provide lots of natural light, creating an open and airy space. The modern kitchen is stocked with all the appliances, cookware and utensils you need for easy, stress free cooking. The living area features a large sectional and comfy arm chairs plus additional seating if needed. Smart TV, selection of games and books, puzzle board and guitar. Off the hallway are 3 bedrooms: a King Room with ensuite shower and walk in closet; a Queen Room and a Twin Room with 2 twin beds. There is also a second bathroom with a shower. From the dining area, patio doors lead you to the covered deck, which catches the sun all day long and invites you for morning coffee or a well earned afternoon nap with the local Hummingbirds. There is outdoor seating and a propane iron top griddle BBQ. Just off the deck is the fire pit and a 6-person hot tub. A new build so landscaping is in progress. Guest access Whole house and property Other things to note The house has wi-fi and smart TV. There is no cable, but some streaming channels are pre-loaded. Kindling and firewood are provided for the outdoor firepit - guests should check and adhere to any fire bans in place. The super hot weather and lack of rain, coupled with the late summer, means the back yard is not yet turfed, landscaping is underway. We are non-smoking house. Down the road is Harbourville, a small working fishing village. There is a wonderful seasonal take out, The Harbourville Trading Company and a fresh fish market. To note, for the comfort of all our guests, we do not allow the cooking of seafood in the house. A short drive away are farmers markets, wineries, a golf club and the famous Bay of Fundy.
