A special retreat for those seeking space, character, and a true sense of place. Please note the property is around 300 years old so can creak, have drafts and light can come in from other rooms through small gaps in the beams. It all adds to the character! Guest access There is a key code pad on the main door to gain entry so you can let yourself in and don’t have to worry about taking a key with you when you go out Other things to note We always have families staying in our properties, so while we are happy to take bookings from groups, we don’t allow parties or loud music or other loud or disruptive activities. Please note that we believe life is too short to iron, your bedding will be fresh and clean but it may be a little creased. The single bed size is bunk bed size, so slightly smaller than a standard single, perfect for children. Also, the floor is hard and there’s an Airbnb below, so we ask guests to tread lightly (no discos, running, throwing balls for dogs, etc).
