This is a multi-story lodge building and you're renting a ground-floor unit with another unit above. The unit features air conditioning via an energy-efficient mini split. Located on a peaceful parcel on the eastern edge of the Estes Valley, this ground-level room offers the perfect environment for relaxation and mountain therapy with zero steps from your dedicated private parking spot directly to your door. Your space features everything needed for comfort: a restful king bed with extra pillows and blankets, a kitchenette with mini fridge and coffee maker positioned for easy access, and your own cozy electric fireplace for intimate evenings. The spacious bathroom features grab handles at both toilet and shower for added safety. The wide ADA-compliant door and thoughtful room layout ensure easy navigation throughout your stay, with ample space for mobility aids. There's also a wonderful heated drying/towel rack. The dedicated workspace on the second floor (stairs required) can serve as a reading nook for quiet moments with a book. The outdoor dining area with beautiful Estes valley views provides an accessible spot for peaceful meals, while the surrounding lodge grounds in the Solitude Cabins community attract elk and deer regularly, creating a serene natural setting visible from the accessible outdoor spaces. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits. Charcoal BBQs are banned. ROAD CONDITIONS Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there's a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
