villa organica is a space where everything you can and can't imagine is possible The space About the place Bass in the Gallery is a historic farm complex and a unique place that combines the feeling of freedom, nature, art and encounters. It serves as a space for events and gatherings of all kinds - celebrations, weddings, retreats, workshops, seminars, training camps and cultural events. It is located in the small village of Skytaly, between hills and forests, in a quiet environment far from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are gradually restoring the whole area by ourselves and bringing it back to life and soul. The Villa Organica residential building dates back to 1927. It was built by a Sudeten German, whose initials can still be seen on the front of the building. After years of decay, it now offers guests a peaceful and cozy environment. The house is connected to a former stable, which has now been converted into a social space with an open kitchen – a place for meetings, banquets, dancing and other programs. The historic granary, whose trusses bear the year 1836, now functions as a bar and café seating. It was originally used to dry plums. Bass in the Gallery is a place where history naturally meets the present, culture meets nature, and people meet each other. A space where you can slow down, create, celebrate, and be together. An outdoor wood-fired Finnish sauna with panoramic views is available on the property and included in the price of your stay. Guest access The entire property is always rented to only one group at a time during a stay. When booking for 10 or more people, you have the entire fenced area to yourself – a garden of 5,000 m² and a main residential building of 650 m². ➡️ Privacy is one of the main benefits of this place – the entire property is fenced, can be locked with a gate, and is exclusively for you during your stay. The property also includes an outdoor wood-fired Finnish sauna with a modern design and panoramic windows overlooking the countryside. The sauna is included in the price of the stay and is available to guests throughout their entire stay. It is designed for 2–3 people lying down or up to 8 people sitting down, and offers a unique experience of relaxation. Parking is available directly on the premises. You will be provided with the keys to the gate, so you can keep the property fully locked at all times. A charcoal grill is available, ideal for social evenings and outdoor cooking. Charcoal can be provided by arrangement. The property is located on the outskirts of the village. There are neighbors on one side, but not in the immediate vicinity – you have complete privacy within the property. During the warmer months (roughly May–November), in addition to the indoor bathrooms, outdoor toilets and showers are also available – 3 more toilets, 2 showers, and 2 sinks – which is especially convenient for larger groups or events. Upon arrival, we will hand everything over to you personally and we are available 24/7 for any questions or assistance throughout your stay. If you are renting fewer than 10 beds, the use of the entire premises is subject to agreement – access to certain areas may be restricted depending on the situation at the time. The price on Airbnb is set for 16 people. For larger groups or events (weddings, celebrations, functions), please contact us for an individual quote and to make arrangements. The property is offered as a short-term rental of the entire premises for private stays or events. This is not a hotel or accommodation facility. Other things to note The idea to renovate this farmhouse originated years ago in Berlin, where we visited various creative spaces and places where people create, meet and share inspiration. During the next trips, this idea gradually matured. Later, thanks to one order, we got the opportunity to use a castle with a large park. Although it was not repaired and for most people it would be unrealistic to live in such a building, this experience only confirmed that we want to create our own place with a similar atmosphere. We therefore decided to find and buy a building that we can not only save and repair, but also open to the public - as a space for meeting, creating and relaxing, which will offer not only an experience but also comfortable facilities. Thanks to the fact that we have been renovating historic buildings for a long time and know the entire renovation process, it was natural for us to start working on our own. We do most of the adjustments ourselves. Because we are close to art, we try to create space sensitively and with added value - whether in the form of paintings, wall design or thoughtful technical solutions. Instead of a "smart home at the touch of a button", we prefer to say that we are building a wise home – one that warms not only physically, but also with its atmosphere. That is why we prefer, for example, radiant heat from storage heaters. We are still in the process and the space is still evolving, but it already serves people and their meetings. When we're not working on the house, we're involved in the visual arts, music, and organizing cultural events. This is where the name Bass in the Gallery came from.
