Exposed beams, a cosy inglenook fireplace and a rambling garden alive with birdsong in the day and stars on clear nights, it’s perfect for a romantic escape or peaceful retreat. Just a short stroll from a traditional pub and with nearby hidden coves and beautiful empty beaches, this timeless Cornish hideaway blends history, character and simple comfort for an unforgettable stay. The space The detached house is set amongst rolling countryside in a quiet location, yet within walking distance of a local village pub. With a cosy kitchen and lounge downstairs, a central staircase leads to a couple of bedrooms. The bathroom is downstairs. Just to make you aware there are deep slate steps leading up to the property. Please be careful when wet they can become slippery. The upstairs windows in the bedrooms are close to floor level. There is one child lock fitted if you need to use it in the twin room. The heating i(which hopefully you will not need in the summer ! 🌞) is fired by a Rayburn which you light .. instructions are in the welcome file. Guest access As a guest you have access to all the house and garden at the property Other things to note Please note that parking for the property is not directly opposite..but within a two minute walk .. It is on a wider part of the road and very safe. There is the ability to park next to the cottage briefly to unload and reload your car on arrival/departure The property is not ideally suited for younger children under the age of 4 years
