Opening Fall 2025, an old private house close to the sea

It is a 2-minute walk from Setoda Port, and you can immediately go to a place where you can see the Seto Inland Sea. There is no view from the facility, but the port and Shiomachi shopping street are close, so you can stroll around the neighborhood and enjoy the port city. The building has been designed to create a comfortable environment while making use of the characteristics of an old private house. The existing exterior walls and structures were insulated and reinforced, but restored to the time when the old house was built. Inside, we made a white box that provides a comfortable environment, and we made it the living room and bedroom. You can relax in a modern Japanese-style design space while staying in an old Japanese house. The bathroom opens to the courtyard with large windows and is full of a sense of freedom. The bathtub and bathroom heating are also equipped to create a comfortable bathroom environment, and privacy is ensured with blinds. It is small but equipped with a kitchen for simple cooking. The entrance is wide and bicycles can be brought inside. There is also a washing machine, so it can accommodate medium to long-term stays. There are also Western-style restaurants, Japanese restaurants, kappo restaurants, and bars nearby, so you can enjoy the local cuisine. The space ■ Accommodation There are 2 single size beds, which are basically for 2 people, but the sofa bed in the living room can accommodate up to 3 people. Additional fees apply for 3 guests. The total area is about 50㎡. [About the partition between the living room and bedroom] The living room and bedroom are separated by a shoji screen to create an open space and a modern Japanese design. Therefore, although the line of sight is blocked, the light and sound pass through the sliding door, so each room is designed so that it cannot be used as a private room that blocks light and sound. [About the steps in the facility and accommodation for babies] The facility is a renovated old house, so there is a 45 cm step at the entrance and a small 30 cm step in the Japanese-style room. Babies can stay, but you need to be careful of the steps. Please fold the stroller at the entrance and carry the baby into the room. Room Facilities The mini kitchen (one IH) is equipped with kitchen tools and dishes for simple cooking. You can also cook simple meals. Amenities Towels (small towels, face towels, bath towels, foot mats), sheets, amenities (toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, cotton swabs, earplugs), indoor slippers, tea bags (tea, black tea, drip coffee, sugar) Around the kitchen Frying pans, pots, knives, cutting boards, peelers, chopsticks, forks, spoons, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, mugs, bottle openers, detergents (Please bring your own condiments. Appliances Refrigerator, hair dryer, kettle, microwave, TV, extension cord, washing machine (no dryer) [About accommodation] We welcome both short and long-term stays. We support both travel and business stays. Long-term stays of 30 days or more are also available. Guest access ■ Guest access You can use the entire accommodation, dressing room, bathroom, and kitchen. ■ Parking Parking is available for 2 vehicles behind the facility. The road is very narrow, but regular cars can be parked Other things to note ■ Other special things to note * After booking, it is mandatory to register guest information (you may need to upload your ID card, etc./if you are from abroad, you must upload your passport). We will let you know the information requested by the city after booking. * The key is an electric lock. The front sliding door will make an error sound if you do not close it manually all the way. If you close it after that, it's fine. * The PIN for the key will be issued at the time of booking. We will let you know the PIN code itself a few days before your stay. We will let you know as soon as possible if you have any requests. Noise Please be mindful of the noise as the neighborhood is residential. Also, if you are concerned about noise in the neighborhood, please use earplugs. Smoking The facility is completely non-smoking, including the parking lot. We may charge you for deodorization and repair costs. Pets Pets are not allowed. [Garbage separation] There are two trash cans in the kitchen. Please separate burnable garbage (paper) from plastic garbage. Please leave bottles, cans, and PET bottles separately. Damage to facilities If the facilities or equipment are soiled, damaged, or lost, we may charge you the actual cost of replacement at a later date. About Bugs We regularly exterminate insects, but because it is a house, insects may enter. Insect repellants are available in the warehouse, so please use them. Other items * Barbecues and fireworks are prohibited in the parking lot and in and around the facility. * No parties * Check-in time is from 4 pm and check-out time is before 11 am. Please follow the time restrictions. No cleaning will be done during your stay. Please contact us for longer stays. * Security cameras are installed outside the entrance of the building. We have installed it to keep our guests safe and to help with check-in on the accommodation system. * Please note that we cannot store your luggage before check-in or after check-out. * It would be helpful if you could help us sort the garbage as much as possible (burnable garbage/bottles, cans/plastic bottles) and put them together when you leave. * Please return as much as possible of what you used before check-out and departure, and do a simple cleaning. Please also check that the water, electricity, and air conditioner are off. Please let us know when you have checked out.
