Senja House at Marbella Beach, Costa Rica

Modern house on the hilltop of a gated community in front of Marbella Beach with a nice view of the Ocean. Come and enjoy beautiful beaches in the Tropical Dry Forest, choosing from a surfing beach in Marbella to a quiet, relaxing beach in San Juanillo. The space The house has a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, where you can enjoy stunning sunsets every afternoon. It has a main terrace with a BBQ grill, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances that just are awaiting for those red snappers that you can find at the artisanal fishery at San Juanillo Beach, about 20 mins away from the house. There you can get a variety of fresh sea food and you can request for help for preparation and cooking. The house has the master bedroom in the ground floor facing the ocean. It has a king-size bed, with a walk-in closet and a private bathroom. It has a direct access to the house pool and a small terrace where you can enjoy a morning coffee with a nice view to the forest. The other two bedrooms are in the second floor and have queen-size beds, and share one bathroom, and an upper deck from where you can frequently spot tropical birds or Congo monkeys, or gaze at the stars at night. For the additional guests, there is a queen size sofa bed in the common area. The kitchen, dining room and living room share a common area in the ground floor, next to the main terrace that you can access through the sliding glass doors, which open to make it an even larger space. Satellite TV service is available in all bedrooms and in the common area, as well as air conditioning units. The laundry room is in the first floor, and it is equipped with a washing-dryer machine and supplies. Guest access The entire house will be accessible for you as guests. The carport of Senja House can accommodate two vehicles. However, should more space be required, there is always parking space available in front of the house. Since Senja House is within a gated community, as a guest you are welcome to use the common entertainment area, just by crossing the road in front of the house. It has a large swimming pool and a smaller pool for the kids. This common area offers restrooms, showers and plenty of small kiosks equipped with sun chairs for relaxing and socializing while enjoying a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby hills. Other things to note Senja House is located in a portion of the Northern Pacific region that is away from cities and large towns, so that wild animals, fauna and insects are common and can easily be spotted in the surroundings. We recommend that you bring mosquito repellants and use it during the late afternoon, after sundown and the early mornings. During the summer, I recommend to lower the curtains of the sliding doors that face to the ocean during the afternoons. This will improve the response of the air conditioning units after closing all sliding doors.
