Each of the five bedrooms has its own personality: three king suites and three queen beds dressed in soft linens, with carefully curated art and modern comfort in every detail. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire estate — all three levels of the main home, The Annex, and every outdoor gathering space. Please note there are two steps leading to both the front and side entrances. Smart locks make arrival seamless and secure. Once your renter’s agreement is signed, you’ll receive detailed arrival instructions, personalized door codes, and a digital guidebook curated with local favorites and bourbon trail highlights. The Rickhouse Retreat is located along a private gravel road that leads directly to the property, offering both privacy and a touch of Kentucky countryside charm. On-site parking accommodates up to five vehicles, and an EV charger is available for your convenience. Other things to note We want your stay at The Rickhouse Retreat to be effortless, comfortable, and memorable. Please review the following details before arrival: • Renter Agreement & ID: A signed renter’s agreement and government-issued ID upload are required within 48 hours of booking to confirm your reservation. • Security Hold: A refundable security hold, similar to a hotel deposit, is processed outside of Airbnb two days before arrival and released after checkout, pending inspection. • Check-In Details: Smart locks make arrival seamless. Once your agreement is complete, you’ll receive personalized door codes, detailed arrival instructions, and our digital guidebook featuring local favorites and bourbon trail recommendations. • Golf Simulator & Equipment: Guests enjoy access to the professional golf simulator located in The Annex. A set of golf clubs is provided for your use so you can travel light and play anytime. • Pool & Hot Tub: The outdoor pool is open from April or May through September and is professionally maintained. Please note that it is not heated, and as we’re in a rural setting, some natural debris may occasionally enter the water. The hot tub is available year-round, offering the perfect way to unwind after a day of tastings or travel. • Rural Setting: The Rickhouse Retreat sits along a quiet country road surrounded by nature and fields. You may see deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, or hear the distant calls of cows and donkeys. During hunting season, you may hear occasional gunfire from nearby properties — this is normal for rural Kentucky. Insects are also common here, so we recommend keeping doors closed to help keep nature outside. Please do not feed or approach wildlife. • Septic System: The property operates on a septic system. Please flush only toilet paper and dispose of all other items in the trash. • No Pets: Due to the property’s unfenced layout and surrounding wildlife, pets are not permitted for their safety. A $250 fee applies for violations. • No Smoking Indoors or on the Deck: Smoking or vaping inside the home or on the wooden deck is strictly prohibited. A minimum $250 fee will apply for violations. • Security Cameras: For guest safety and property protection, exterior cameras monitor all entrances. There are no cameras inside or aimed inside the home. • Weather: Kentucky weather can change quickly; while we prepare the home with care, weather-related variations are beyond our control.
