Romantic Casa with Pool & Views

Spazzavento is a beautiful Tuscan apartment situated off the beaten track & immersed in nature, which lends itself perfectly as peaceful retreat, while still remaining close enough to the centre of Montecatini V D Cecina. The casa is part of a larger farmhouse which has 5 units who share a large communal pool. The property has been lovingly restored and features large rooms with new fixtures and furnishings. The views from its location are phenomenal and over look the famous city of Volterra. The space Beautifully situated on the slopes of Montecatini Val Di Cecina town, Casa Spazzavento is a charming apartment within a historic and stunningly renovated farmhouse. Through the main arched doorway you are welcomed by the open plan kitchen, dining and living area, equipped with all mod cons, air-conditioning and everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. The sofa/futon also pulls out to a double bed. We advertise the listing as sleeping only two people but we are equipped to fit children in the property for small families (on request). Through the living area there is an extra space for coats and suitcases. From here you will find the full bathroom. Newly renovated and featuring a shower cubicle and a bidet. (This is also where the washing machine is located). Further from here is the spacious double bedroom which features a king size bed with linens and towels provided, a smart TV, and ample storage space for your belongings. additionally, there are beautiful panoramic views of the rolling hills from every window in the property. Spazzavento also has its own garden with outdoor dining facilities on the terrace and a built in barbecue. The property also boasts a large outdoor pool which is great for you to enjoy on hot summer days. This pool is communal between five other apartments. But it is seldom used by them and is never crowded. Guest access Guests have full private access to the house and patio and will only share the grounds and large pool. Other things to note **Please note** The pool is only open from May 1st and closes on September 30th. It is a communal pool and is shared by the five apartments. It is however seldom used by three of the apartments and is never crowded. Also, Please be aware. As we are located in the Tuscan countryside and on a hillside. There will be small bugs on the property and some humidity in the house in the colder months. This is nothing to worry about and not dangerous to you. Unfortunately We cannot control nature. We will however provide bug spray in addition to your welcome basket. If ever you run out of bug spray please contact your property manager and it will be replaced. A city tax of 1.50 euro per person per day, (up to the first 7 days) will need no be paid on arrival and taken with a photo of ID to be given to the local commune and law enforcement. Spazzavento is located at the end of a dirt road (approx 800m). We must clarify that this is a bumpy track used by tractors and faming vehicles. We would advise using 4x4 or more SUV cars for this. Although an average car will make the trip, we ask to please go slow and be very careful. Be aware, Sports cars or lowered vehicles will not make the journey to the property. We ask all of our guests to please close the terrace umbrellas whenever you leave the property and on an evening before you retire to bed. It gets quite windy where we are located.
