The space Designed and built with the utmost of attention and care by your hosts. The name "Cucuvaya" (owl in Greek) honors the pair of owls that live in an old metal water tank on the property. Originally built to be our personal home, we now graciously welcome you to create some amazing memories here. This is the only home on the hill. You'll be surrounded by open space, endless skies, and complete stillness. Other things to note PHOTOSHOOTS & EVENTS Please inquire for more details. Unauthorized shoots or events are not permitted and will result in a $1,500 fine. UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS Our permit allows for 4 overnight guests and 4 vehicles, no guests allowed. Violations will result in immediate eviction with no refund, and county fines will be passed to you. NOISE ORDINANCE Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Noise violations will result in a minimum $1,000 fine. SMOKING POLICY No smoking inside or within 10 feet of the house. WILDLIFE Expect to see wildlife during your stay - owls, coyotes, rabbits, lizards, and snakes - are all part of the surrounding area. Please be mindful of the potential encounters and keep a safe distance. Also, keep an eye out for cacti, as they are plentiful in our desert.
