If you’re lucky enough and the sky is dark, you may even catch the awe inspiring aurora borealis or “northern lights”. With very little light pollution, there aren’t many better places to watch these lights dance across the night sky. In quaint downtown Talkeetna, you'll find multiple boutique stores, adventure activities, dining options, and oftentimes live music on the weekends.
