The space Our Contemporary Post & Beam style~newly constructed home, offers an all inclusive private getaway within nature’s landscape. Three expansive floors with ample light filtration through large windows for overlooking the rolling hills of Copake, New York. Upon entrance to the house, you are greeted with an open floor plan holding a pristine chef’s kitchen with south facing wall of French doors. An extensive butcher block island stands in the middle of the kitchen with four high top chairs pulled to one side. The living room sits within cathedral ceilings, as LED lights illuminate the post & beam framing. Cozy up with a wood fire burning in the fireplace or watch your favorite shows and movies on the TV hidden within the wall. The dining room table seats ten toward the back of the room sided by floor to ceiling book shelve wall for you to browse through during your stay. The first bedroom holds a queen size bed with an en-suite full bathroom. Down the hall is the second bedroom there is a king size bed with another en-suite bathroom. There is a small private deck with two Adirondack chairs accessible from this room, perfect for breathing in the fresh air and taking in the marvelous view. The upper floor holds two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and day bed, the other just a queen size bed. These bedrooms share a bathroom within the hallway. We have two separate work areas, one for the more creative folks with paints and an easel, the other with a desk, lamp, and chair. The upper floor ends by a loft style opening into the cathedral ceiling, which you can look down into the living room from above. Our finished basement, lower level holds three bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms are cute single rooms each with a twin size bed and window. These two single bedrooms share a half bathroom next to the laundry room. There is both a washer and dryer ~ feel free to utilize them during your stay. We have game room in the center of the finished basement with a pool table, arcade games, “In-Home Cinema” room, along with a kitchenette to create the best “Game & Movie Night!” The lower level has multiple doors to be able to exit out to the patio and enjoy the Hot Tub. Enjoy this spa year round as you relax perched in an oasis of serenity. Follow the stone steps up to take a swim in our in-ground heated pool in the summer months. The pool is open from May 15th through November 1st. Overlooking the pool area and grounds we have a large covered deck with outdoor seating and dining area. There is an outdoor fireplace, perfect for taking the chill off, great memories are made around a fire! ~We welcome you to come experience our piece of paradise for yourself!~ Guest access You will have full access to our beloved home! Please be respectful! Other things to note The pool is heated to 80 degrees and open from spring through early fall. The hot tub is open year round. AWD is suggested for our long driveway especially in winter and mud season. If anything breaks during your stay. Please just let us know so that it can be fixed or replaced before our next guests arrive.
