Welcome to Bacons Billabong. Nestled beside Bacons Farmhouse, a Grade II listed home, Bacons Billabong offers a peaceful countryside retreat just outside the charming village of Ingatestone. Surrounded by open fields, this beautifully refurbished annex is the ideal escape for walkers, bird lovers and those seeking a quiet break with easy access to London and local wedding venues. The space With numerous public footpaths on your doorstep and a variety of birds making their home here, nature is never far away. The village and station are only a short walk away, and the fast train whisks you into London in just 30 minutes. Recently renovated to a high standard, Bacons Billabong is light and airy throughout, staying wonderfully cool in summer and cosy in winter thanks to the log burner. The oak-beamed open plan living, dining and kitchen area offers a comfortable space to relax. The sitting area includes a double sofa bed if needed that can be prepared for your arrival at an extra cost of £25, and a 43" Smart TV with WiFi for your entertainment. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including: • Oven and hob • Fridge/freezer • Microwave, kettle, toaster • Dishwasher • Washer/dryer • Full cookware and utensils The bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, 40" Smart TV, bedside tables, lamps, hanging space and under-bed storage. The en-suite bathroom is finished to a high standard with a spacious shower (with seat), heated towel rail and ample storage. And yes, you can enjoy a view of the billabong from the loo, a small delight our guests love. USB and USB-C charge points are available throughout the property. OUTDOORS Step outside into your large private garden with a picnic table and BBQ. Enjoy morning coffee overlooking the billabong and duck house or unwind in the covered seating area at the front of the property, perfect for reading or watching the sunset.   NEARBY Bacons Billabong is ideally located if you are attending a local wedding or event.
