Stable Cottage

Converted from a 18th Century stable, this cute, 2-bedroom ivy-clad cottage offers a light and airy escape. Exposed stone walls whisper history, while a well- equipped kitchen area, cosy sofas, and a wood-burning stove provide modern comforts. Unwind after adventures by a crackling fire, or step outside to your own patio (perfect for morning coffee or evening BBQs). The traditional half-door and on-site parking complete the picture. Escape the everyday and find peace in Stable Cottage. The space The cottage is one of a group 4 stone built cottages, known as a clachan, situated on a hill farm. It is a few steps away from the other cottages, but is quite private and has a front door opening onto a countryside view and walks. The cottage has 4 rooms - open plan sitting /dining/kitchen with double doors to a S-E facing fenced patio with wrought iron table & chairs (with a glimpse of the sea)The patio is next to the shared gravelled yard - parking here too. A hallway beyond this room leads to the bathroom and two bedrooms - and also the front door, which has steps down to the lawn opposite. A wooden gate here leads to wildlife walks. Guest access Guests have the entire cottage to themselves, plus a patio to one side and a lawn area directly in front of the cottage. Also a dedicated parking space for one or two cars just outside. Other things to note The second bedroom can have either 3 single beds or can be set up with a super king bed and 1 single bed. Please advise in advance your preference so that the room can be set up as you wish ahead of your arrival.
