Beautiful barn renovated by Trapèze Architecture in 2023 in the Cotentin peninsula, between the sea and the Norman bocage, 15 minutes from beautiful beaches, surf club, nautical base, hiking departures, Cherbourg train station, Cité de la Mer... Very bright, bucolic, peaceful and warm. Come and recharge your batteries in this exceptional green setting with all the comforts (premium French bedding, underfloor heating, new appliances, fiber, large garden, trampoline...). The space The country stone house is an old barn that belongs to a 19th century farmhouse. We live in one of the neighboring houses and will be at your disposal if needed. Light is everywhere, no matter the weather outside thanks to the wide openings and the south and west exposure of the house. The lights have also been carefully chosen and you can enjoy warm atmospheres in the living room and illuminate the vegetation of the garden in the evening. The living room's sliding doors allow you to open everything to the slightest ray of sunshine and have the feeling of abolishing the border with the outside and living inside/outside, which is so pleasant on vacation. Everything has been tastefully decorated and the concern to use materials respecting the spirit of the place: stone, solid wood, waxed concrete... The house enjoys excellent thermal comfort thanks to the heat pump and underfloor heating managed by a central thermostat. The beds in all the bedrooms are made on arrival and you will find one towel per guest and bath mats and tea towels. Acoustic comfort is ensured by the wooden panels of the ceiling of the large hall uniting the living room and the kitchen under a generous ceiling height. You can have lunch on the terrace on a wooden table, or relax after the barbecue on our Chilean chairs, or sit on the small stone benches or on the trunk of our wonderful walnut tree. On the private terrace of the master suite, you can also lie on an outdoor mattress if you wish. We leave at your disposal many books, comics, board games for all ages. You will also have access to our XL trampoline, and will have the opportunity to use our sports net to play volleyball, badminton, tennis ball or mini tennis on the grass (the removable poles fit into the ground and are very easy to install or hide). We will also provide you with beach rackets and a petanque set. The house includes on the ground floor: - a pleasant entrance area with shoe furniture and hooks - a large living room with two large sofas and a comfortable Habitat armchair for 7 people and a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine and coffee maker, blender, waffle maker, toaster, etc.) We also leave at your disposal a Sonos speaker, as well as a connected TV connected to an Orange box. The house is equipped with fiber optics. - A large master suite with dressing room, library, waxed concrete shower, double sinks, thermostatic faucets. - a comfortable laundry room equipped with a large sink, cleaning products, ironing board, drying rack, washing machine and dryer. - A separate toilet On the first floor: - two bright bedrooms of 12 and 13 m2, with a very pleasant view of the fields and the countryside. Both have large windows and a comfortable double bed. We can provide extra mattresses on request to accommodate two additional children and increase the number of visitors to 8. - a bathroom with double sink, shower with thermostatic faucet and toilet Other things to note Our animal friends are not allowed inside the house.
