Seethavanam - Two Bedroom Farmstay
Seethavanam Farmstay at Forest Edge
Description
At the edge of Kollengode, a village steeped in tradition, lies Seethavanam, a 30-acre sanctuary overlooking the sacred Seetharkund waterfalls. Legend says Seetha Devi bathed here, giving rise to the Gayathri River that flows into the Bharathapuzha, shaping Kerala’s soul. Bordering Parambikulam Sanctuary, it is home to elephants, deer, and silence. Here, wilderness and comfort meet, time slows, and nature begins to speak. The space Within are two air-conditioned rooms (Maya & Moksha) with a common living and dining area. Ensuite bathrooms have geyser, shower, WC, and basin — comfort in simplicity. Step onto Ananda Thara to view the Western Ghats and Seetharkund waterfalls, or to Parnashala, a wooden deck with openable walls. Homecooked meals, handcrafted toiletries, linens, and rural warmth complete your stay. In a world of noise, this is where silence begins.
