Briar Rose Cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 4, with a fully-enclosed south facing rear garden and stunning views of the River Teign. The space Our pretty little cottage is fully-equipped for a cosy retreat for couples and small family groups alike. Situated in a quiet, but central part of the village of Bishopsteignton, which boasts 3 pubs - The Cockhaven Arms, The Ring of Bells (both great for food) and The Old Commercial, a village shop, post office, pharmacy and doctors surgery, all within walking distance. Bishopsteignton is conveniently located for getting to some beautiful coast and countryside - what South Devon is most certainly famous for! The lovely seaside town of Teignmouth, is only a 2 mile drive away. Here you'll find, the back beach, which is full of waterside pubs and restaurants, and has a real buzz about it at any time of the year. You can also catch one of the country's oldest ferry trips over to the pretty village of Shaldon. Teignmouth also has a fabulous beach, and there's a large dog friendly section for doggies to stretch their legs. You can walk the South West Coast Path to neighbouring Dawlish, and Dawlish Warren for more stunning beaches and an off-road cycle track which takes you into the bustling city of Exeter. Heading inland, and Dartmoor's famous tors of Haytor and Houndtor are within a half hour's drive. Dartmoor really is a special place with so many awe-inspiring landscapes and beautiful walks to explore. There are ancient woodlands to take a stroll in, crystal clear rivers for some wild swimming, and open, dramatic moorland to get out and explore. The main A38 and A380 routes are also easy to access from Bishopsteignton. If you'd like a day out in the city, Plymouth is 45 minutes away and Exeter, is about 30 minutes away. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage during your stay, including a fully-enclosed south-facing rear garden, with a patio area for al-fresco dining. Please note, there is no off-road parking at the property, but there's plenty of on-street parking nearby.
