Treat yourself to a break filled with calm and nature in the heart of Bugey. Le Poulailler, a carefully renovated former farmhouse, welcomes you to Boyeux-Saint-Jérôme, a charming village in Bugey located 440 m above sea level, 1 hour from Lyon and 1.5 hours from Geneva. Between hikes, charming villages and unspoiled landscapes, enjoy a rejuvenating stay with a Scandinavian sauna and jacuzzi (Spring/Summer, €10/pers.). Ideal for a romantic getaway, with family or friends. The space The gîte, with an area of 50 m², can accommodate 2 to 4 people. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, a large bedroom with a double bed (160 × 200) and a balcony offering a pleasant view of the surrounding nature, as well as a second bedroom equipped, depending on the composition of your group, with a double bed (140 × 190) or two single beds (70 × 190). Outside, a private covered terrace gives you access to the garden, where you can enjoy the traditional Scandinavian sauna, the outdoor Jacuzzi (in spring and summer, a fee of €10 per person applies), and two sun loungers, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful late afternoons. Guest access You will have the entire vacation rental to yourself, as well as your private covered terrace. The fully enclosed garden is a shared space. I live onsite and I make sure to maintain the tranquility for everyone. I have my own covered terrace as well as a part of the garden reserved for me, so that everyone can enjoy the place in peace. You can freely enjoy the wellness area located in the garden, which includes the traditional Scandinavian sauna, the outdoor hot tub (in spring and summer, for a fee of €10 per person), as well as two sun loungers, perfect for relaxing in a green setting. Other things to note At the foot of the cottage, you will find many walks and hikes in the forest. Nearby, there are many activities to discover, whether they are cultural- JC Bonnet silks in Jujurieux, the copper factory of Cerdon, the caves of Cerdon, festival of Ambronnay, visit the wineries of Cerdon- or the open air with canoe down the river Ain, swimming at Ile Chambod, tree climbing and multi-activity on the plateau d 'Hauteville. You can visit the Royal Monastery of Brou in Bourg en Bresse, the medieval village of Peru as well as the Museum of Resistance in Nantua.
