Description
Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts. Altitude is at 7300 feet, no ac necessary but rooms have ceiling fans. If you aren't used to the altitude it is important to drink LOTS of water. Close by to Snowy Range, Medicine Bow National Forest, rock climbing, hiking, meandering, enjoying Cheyenne Frontier Days & everything the legend of Cheyenne has to offer; without being right downtown. During winter months contact prior to booking. The space Large bedroom with a wonderfully comfy queen bed with luxurious linens. Lots of closet space, dresser, folding desk and side chair. Shared bath. There are a total of 2 1/2 baths reserved for guests. We have a house cat named Phoebe (who spends a lot of time outdoors when the weather is willing), a standard poodle named Cora and a new addition, Neela (standard poodle puppy) still learning her manners. This room is on the third floor, (two flights of stairs) we do not have an elevator. However we do have a place to park in back making it only up one flight of stairs if necessary. Guest access All spaces in the house are available for use except master bed room and bath, pantry or other closets marked private. During your stay We will help with anything we can. We are retired and here most of the time. Other things to note We are a working ranch, there are cattle sounds from time to time, and chickens. October - May, please contact us prior to booking, to confirm accessibility during winter storms. Not so much to our property but the interstate closes on occasion. If you are towing anything let me know the day of your arrival so I can provide different parking instructions.
