Spacious 3-room beachfront apartment on the ground floor, with direct access to incredible views of the Mediterranean sea, the yachts at Marina Greenwich and the mountains of the Mascarat area. Fully equipped and creatively decorated in a vintage style, it features a large, bright terrace just steps away from a 25-meter pool and surrounded by the fancy restaurants, bars and lovely beaches. Only 10 minutes from the cities of Altea and Calpe. The space THE CONTEXT The exclusive Mascarat area is located just 10 minutes from the renowned town of Altea, famous for its vibrant historic centre and its 187 restaurants. Mascarat is also only 40 minutes from Alicante International Airport, making it easily accessible from anywhere in the world. Within this exceptional area lies Marina Greenwich, surrounded not only by stunning mountains but also, and most notably, by beautiful and unique beaches with crystal-clear, warm waters, sandy seabeds, lifeguard services, sun loungers and parasols for hire, and beach bars just a few steps from the water, ideal for dining or enjoying a drink during summer. These idyllic beaches are perfect for swimming in calm, wave-free waters and for exploring the delightful marine ecosystem that the Mediterranean Sea has to offer. Marina Greenwich is a multicultural space, filled with people of many nationalities and accents, ensuring every encounter brings a fascinating story to hear. The marina offers yacht, jet ski, and paddleboard rentals, bicycles, yoga classes, scuba diving lessons, rock climbing, rope swinging, and much more. On top of this, it features a selection of gourmet restaurants, bars serving delicious cocktails, live music performances, and DJs that transform the area into a place to end every day with fun, style, interesting company, and good taste. For convenience, there are also kiosks, mini-markets, and affordable takeaway food options. For grocery shopping, the fully equipped Masymas supermarket is just a 2-minute drive, a 9-minute cycle, or an 18-minute walk away. Amidst this setting is our apartment, located in the heart of the marina: fully soundproofed against any kind of noise, sheltered from the wind, facing the sea, and offering breathtaking views—both of the mountains behind and the stunning beaches and creative yacht designs. We purchased and completely renovated the apartment in mid-2024. Humbly, we take pride in emphasising the word "renovated," as all the work was done by us—using our ideas, our hands, and our tools, recycling everything we could find and transforming it into a space with its own identity. For this reason, although it may seem a bit strict, we prefer not to allow events or parties, pets, or smokers, as smoke can unintentionally seep into the walls and leave an unpleasant odour for future guests. THE APARTMENT Spanning 180 square metres, the property offers two entrances (via the terrace and the main door), two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen integrated with the living-dining room, and a bright and expansive terrace for dining, reading, or sunbathing. The entire apartment is equipped with air conditioning and central heating, as well as six quiet ceiling fans with adjustable lighting, distributed throughout the property. Everything is just a few metres from two beautiful swimming pools monitored by lifeguards: one for children (40 square metres) and another for adults (210 square metres, 25 metres long), ideal for swimming. The apartment has access to public parking outside the complex, which is more convenient if you plan to use your car frequently. THE DECORATION The apartment is primarily decorated in a vintage style. There are wooden tennis rackets, vinyl records, photos of old advertisements, creative objects, and collectible furniture reflecting our hobbies and activities we have pursued at different points in our lives. Be aware that families with under 6 years of age are not allowed. THE BEDROOMS The first bedroom overlooks the sea and the yachts in the marina. It is bright and spacious, featuring a new double bed, a reclining reading chair, two bedside tables with reading lamps, spacious wardrobes with mirrors, a ceiling fan, air conditioning, central heating, and a collection of vintage airline advertisements. This bedroom also offers linens, blankets, towels, and additional storage space under the bed for items such as suitcases. The en-suite bathroom is decorated with a collection of vintage car advertisements and includes a double sink, shower, toilet, and bidet. Soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are provided during your stay. The second bedroom has two new single beds, a small desk for working, a spacious wardrobe with mirrors, a bedside table with a reading lamp, a ceiling fan, air conditioning, central heating, and a collection of vintage advertisements. This bedroom also provides linens, blankets, towels, and additional storage space under each bed for items such as suitcases. The en-suite bathroom is decorated with a collection of vintage marathon advertisements and features a double sink, a shower, a large bathtub for two people, a toilet, and a bidet. Soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are also provided during your stay. THE LIVING-DINING ROOM Designed along the length of the apartment, this space features a beautiful and sturdy wooden table that comfortably seats six people, a large and cosy L-shaped sofa for four people, wooden storage furniture on wheels, three ceiling fans, wireless internet, a collection of books in different languages, a Bluetooth sound system, and a 75-inch smart TV ready for use with your Netflix account. As shown in the photos, the space is decorated with unique objects and vinyl records adorning the walls. THE KITCHEN Spacious, full of drawers, bright, fully equipped, and integrated into the living-dining room. It includes all new appliances: a large fridge with a separate freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, two sinks, cleaning supplies, a robot vacuum, an iron and ironing board, a toaster, a blender, all necessary cutlery, glasses and cups, a complete set of dishes, and a breakfast bar with three stools. THE TERRACE Measuring 40 square metres, the terrace offers a very comfortable space to relax. It includes two colourful sun loungers (ideal for sunbathing, reading, or enjoying an evening drink), a table for four people, a ceiling fan, an exercise bike, and a cabinet with cushions and towels ready for use. To avoid burning your feet in the summer, the terrace is covered with synthetic grass that is pleasant to walk on. It also has a retractable sunblinds to extend the shaded area when the sun is particularly strong, and it is decorated with a collection of vintage bicycle advertisements. THE PARKING The building offers outdoor parking spaces exclusively for apartment residents, which is more practical if you need to use your car frequently. Guest access The building is accessed with a code, which is provided prior to check-in. The apartment keys are in a box that also has a code, which is given on the same day. The key opens both the main door and the terrace entrance. Other things to note If you need a cleaning service during your stay, we can arrange for someone. We require 48 hours' notice for this. Important note: We love children, but due to the presence of delicate objects, unique pieces, and antiques, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate guests under the age of 6. The apartment is decorated with items that hold significant sentimental and historical value — many of which cannot be replaced, even with a security deposit. Some things simply can’t be repaired or bought back, and we aim to preserve the special character of the space for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
