Our peaceful, cozy cabin offers a haven where you can soak in the stillness and relax with WiFi & smart TVs. The space 5 BR 4.5 BA 11 beds & sleeps 15! Fire pit, very private, on the River, Large Great Rm, perfect 4 church retreats, & families! Rocking chairs, Dual shower heads, 3 fireplaces, Loft area 4 kids, horseshoes, walking trail, corn hole set, > 150 books, screened porch w wood fireplace, Smart TVs & gas grill, Adirondack chairs, secluded, Coffee Bar w 12 cup & K-Cup, iced coffee station. WIFI, washer/dryer, towels/ linens, toiletries, hair dryer, ACCESSIBILITY: 2 kings on main level, easy 4 grandparents. Little River Family Retreat is a five bedroom, 4.5 bath cabin. This spacious cabin is tucked away at the foot of the Little River Middle Fork. We know you're looking for a cozy, private cabin with plenty of space, and it's right here! Located 1.5 miles from the GA/AL line on Hwy 117, you'll be able to fully get away from it all when you pull into our long, scenic driveway. We have a lot of fun outdoor activities for you to enjoy during your stay! The new fire pit will welcome you with 6 new Adirondack chairs atop the fresh pebble rock, along with plenty of firewood and all the tools to make delicious s'mores or roast hot dogs. Beyond the fire pit, you will see our horseshoe set that is ready for action. If that doesn’t work for you, try our walking trail that will take you .5 mile through the woods ending at the Little River. If you want to show off your corn hole skills, there is also a new “locally made” corn hole game set up at the top of the cabin. Once you have completed all the fun activities, try out our rocking chairs! We have them on the front porch, back screened in deck and lower deck for your group or family to enjoy. It’s fun to enjoy the beautiful hardwoods, listen to the birds and just relax. Oh wait…. you haven’t been inside yet! Let’s take a look! Three steps will take you up to the porch and will lead you to the front door of the cabin! If the saying, “paint your front door red and change your life” is true, then get ready for a good time here at the cabin! The great room/kitchen/dining room open floor plan is one of the attributes of this cabin that make it perfect for large groups and big families to enjoy time together! We have 21 places to sit in this space. Choose the leather sofa, papa bear’s leather chair or momma bears leather chair or sit in the denim section in the middle. If you prefer a straight back chair, we have 6 around the dining room table or 4 barstools at the kitchen bar. Just outside the great room, we have a custom-made picnic table that seats 6. So, bring the whole family and enjoy this great space! Going back to the great room, we have a long & well stocked coffee bar for everyone to enjoy! Our 12-cup coffee maker includes a carafe, K-cup system and a Burr coffee grinder. We have ground coffee, k-cups, sugar, creamer, honey, vanilla syrup, handheld electric milk frothier & plenty of coffee cups on hand. We love coffee and we want you to enjoy each morning at Little River Family Retreat with hot coffee! Our guests have told us that the coffee bar is what makes them want to return again and again. Next to the coffee bar is our sweet, well-stocked kitchen. This kitchen is literally “grandma’s” kitchen. It has every appliance, utensil and cooking pot/pan that you could ever want. Here is just a peek at what you will find in our kitchen: crock pot, instant pot, Dutch oven, George Foreman sandwich grill, blenders, XL skillets, baking sheets, casserole dishes, frozen fruit ice cream maker, popcorn popper, toaster oven w air fryer, standalone air fryer, microwave, cookbooks, electric over, dishwasher, new fridge w ice/water in door, plenty of silverware, plates, bowls, cups, shot glasses, cocktail glasses, stemware, pitchers and more. We also have a well-stocked pantry with multiple spices, oil, sugar, flour, brownie mixes and a basket of goodies we put together just for your group. After a meal or at the end of the day, relax in the great room area. If it’s cold outside, turn on the gas fireplace. We also have a 55" LG Smart TV above the fireplace. If you download the LG App, there are several free movies to see or connect to your favorite app. If you want to rock the night away, check out the wood fireplace. It’s on the back screened-in deck. There is wood available, and we also have tools to keep the logs in place. We do ask that you be responsible and don't leave this unattended. If you are tired after all of that, we have 2 king beds on the main floor with 2 full bathrooms. Our master bedroom has the bathroom attached. The guest king bed has a full bathroom down the hallway. Upstairs you will find a bunk bedroom housing 4 twin beds at one corner and another king bedroom on the other corner. Upstairs has 1.5 baths on opposite sides of the hallway. Moving down the opposite end upstairs, you find the loft area. This area has 1 set of bunk beds, an oversized chair, a reading nook, Smart TV, children's books, a giant bear, board games, card games, video games and big pillows on the floor for lounging. It is a perfect place for kids to play, relax or read. Having the open concept, they are still able to see & interact with adults downstairs and interact while having their own space. If your group still needs more room, then let’s go back downstairs and out the front door. Once you leave the front porch, the walkway takes you to the backside of the cabin. There you will find a large back deck that overlooks the Little River. The deck has several rocking chairs available for you to enjoy nature, see the river and just relish being in this majestic place. On the deck, you will find another door that leads to a really cute apartment. This space has a queen bed, a king bed, a loveseat, a kitchen, dining table with 4 chairs, fireplace and one full bathroom. The bedrooms are separated with some shabby chic curtains and the beds are situated away from each other and on different walls. It’s a fun place for people who like each other to hang out! This space has a living room w TV, kitchenette, fireplace, bedroom, King bed, Queen bed and full bathroom. Other things to note We love to travel, so we know what makes a trip more memorable! Having coffee the first morning of your vacation is a must! We offer that for every guest! We provide K-cups, ground coffee, sugar, sugar substitutes, creamer, flavored creamer and coffee syrups on our coffee bar! Its well stocked and makes those first days of the trip so special! Our kitchen has a nice selection of spices, as well as a wide variety of pots, pans, skillets and even more specialized items like an instant pot, crock pot and ice cream maker!
