The Ferns Cottage

The Ferns Cottage offers homey self-catering accommodation for holidays and romantic breaks in the heart of Betws-y-Coed, Snowdonia. Surrounded by woodland and countryside, yet just a short walk from village shops, bars, restaurants and the station. This beautifully renovated cottage blends traditional features with modern comfort, ideal for short or weekly stays. Dogs are very welcome—just let us know in advance. The space The Ferns Cottage is a Traditional Welsh Cottage built in late 1800´s, with original slate roof. It features a traditional spiral staircase common in Welsh Cottages, please note that the stairs due to their traditional nature have narrow treads and are quite quite steep when compared to today’s modern standards. The garden is fully enclosed by fencing, which makes it dog friendly, however they are mid height fences so any highly motivated dogs who wish to visit the horses in the field next door, could possibly make it over, it’s not happened yet and hopefully never will.
