Guest access If you're traveling by train, take the funicular from Lugano train station to the city center, and from there head to the bus stop. Take bus line 2 in the direction of Castagnola. Get off at the Castagnola Posta stop, near Locanda Castagnola. Continue on foot, walking past Locanda Castagnola. Go up the stairs on your left until you reach the square in front of the old town hall of Castagnola. Once there, walk about 20 meters slightly to the right, leaving Piazza del Municipio behind you on your right. Welcome! You’ve arrived near Via G.B. Discepoli 11, but the actual house is number 5 — the yellow-painted one with a romantic little garden and a swing gently lit by soft lights. If you're traveling by car, you’ll find two paid parking spots (white lines) near Locanda Castagnola: • the first one on the right, in the large curve, • and the second one just after, on the left. Continuing up the same road, you’ll find two additional free parking spaces (blue lines): • the first on your left, • and the second on your right. These free parking spaces can be used with a parking disc for 1 hour between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., and on Sundays, parking is free with no time limit. On Google Maps, we suggest entering Via G.B. Discepoli 11 to avoid being guided to the upper road, since Via G.B. Discepoli 5 is located between two parallel lanes.
