Optional: firewood/instructions package available. The space Our rustic log home offers an open-concept, lodge-style layout with soaring ceilings and natural wood throughout. The main floor includes a cozy king bed and spacious living area. The upstairs loft is a bonus space currently under light chinking restoration, but guests are welcome to explore and use the full and twin beds provided. Guest access Guests have full access to the main floor, deck, and surrounding 20-acre property, including the mowed walking trail and outdoor firepit area. The upstairs loft is also open for use, though it’s currently under light chinking restoration. Guests are welcome to explore the property freely, relax indoors, or enjoy all outdoor amenities during their stay. Other things to note Handcrafted Wood-Fired Cedar Hot Tub Our custom, wood-fired cedar hot tub is connected directly to the deck and is perfect for relaxing under the stars. It is custom built and shipped from Sooke, British Columbia. Because the tub is heated by an outdoor wood stove, warming the water takes time. Guests should expect approximately 1.5 hours to bring the water to temperature once the fire is started. If you’d prefer to arrive to a warm, ready-to-use hot tub, we offer an optional preheat add-on where we start the fire in advance of your stay. Just let us know if you’d like to add this service.
