Welcome to Saint Cado, the pearl of the Ria d 'Étel, famous for its blue-shaded house that makes photographers dream… and lovers of Brittany. Just two minutes from the port, drop off your bags in this large fisherman's house full of character. It has been restored by a wood architect to immerse you in an authentic and inspiring Brittany. Warning: you have been forewarned. Between the garden, the walks and the charm of the place, it becomes very difficult to leave! The space ✨ A house with a sailor's past Once composed of a fisherman's house (where nets were drying) and a former stable, this building was carefully reunited and redesigned. The owners have preserved the soul of the place – exposed beams, original stones, antique objects – while giving it today's comfort and a warm atmosphere. Here, the wood cracks a little, the light dances on the walls, and it quickly feels like home (but better, because you're on vacation!). Just a two-minute walk from the port of Saint Cado and the Ria trails, this is the perfect place to breathe, stroll, wander, and enjoy the sea air to the full. 🌿 Spaces to live and share On the ground floor: - The great kitchen is the beating heart of the house. It opens onto the garden, offers a beautiful period fireplace, a raw wood countertop and everything you need to simmer good Breton dishes (or simply reheat pancakes, we don't judge). - The adjoining living room is bright and friendly, perfect for chatting, reading or doing nothing at all — which is an art on vacation. - A PMR room with adapted shower room allows everyone to enjoy the stay with peace of mind. - The pantry hosts a washing machine, dryer and sink that is convenient for rinsing jerseys after the beach. Upstairs: - We discover a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub to bubble quietly. - A second living room awaits the relaxed evenings, with TV, PS5, games and a nice collection of DVDs (nostalgia guaranteed). - Three other bedrooms complete the floor: one with double bed, one with bunk beds (the top bed is reserved for small sailors over 6 years old) and one with two single beds. - An extra bathroom with bathtub completes the sleeping area. The walled garden is a small haven of peace. We have lunch in the sun, we redo the world at the end of the day, and sometimes we hear the Ria whisper nearby... or the children laugh a little too loud. 🌊 A unique Breton setting The house is only a two minute walk from the site of Saint Cado and the Ria d 'Étel. Coastal trails pass by, perfect for hiking or biking. The ocean and its great beaches are a ten minute drive away. The neighborhood is quiet, typical and breathes Brittany. Here, we leave the car, we walk, we savor, we breathe. 💙 For an unforgettable stay This large family home sleeps up to 11 people (possibility to add children's beds upon request). It's a home where you feel good, where generations meet, where evenings stretch around the fire, or in the garden.
