Perfect mix of style & comfort in an inviting basement apartment in the heart of a picturesque historic neighborhood. Right off Lincoln Park and within a walk or short bike ride to Eastern Market, the U.S. Capitol, excellent restaurants, Library of Congress, H Street, Metro stations, and more. Smithsonian Museums & National Mall are 3 metro stops away or a 10-minute car ride. Union Station is a 25-minute walk or 13-minute bus ride. Perfect for families with kids, couples, and friends! Other things to note Up to four people is ideal for the apartment, but a couple more can squeeze in. If you can, please let us know at the time you book if you would like to use the sofa bed (in the living room) or a deluxe air mattress in addition to the queen-bed in the bedroom and the double in the space adjoining the living room. Amenities The following amenities are available to you for free in the apartment, please don’t hesitate to ask if you can’t find something or you run out: •Cable TV •First-aid kit •Hair dryer •Soap & shampoo •Toilet Paper •First-aid kit •Nespresso coffee maker •Trash bags •Cleaning products •Iron •Small ironing board •Stroller •Car-seat •Infant travel bed •Visitor’s parking permit for street parking in front of house ($50 fee if permit is damaged or not returned) •DC Guidebooks & maps There’s no washer/dryer in the basement apartment, but let us know if you really need to have laundry done and we’ll get it done for you. Please also help yourself to any water, drinks, treats, and kitchen condiments in the apartment! We have kids upstairs so we might not be a great fit if you are sensitive to footsteps above you! They are usually in school until 3pm and in bed by 7.30 pm. Also, in case you or members of your family find steps difficult, please be aware that there are some steps at the entrance of the apartment.
