Ikigai Fontainebleau - Cottage

In the heart of the Fontainebleau Forest, come enjoy the area at our recently renovated, fully-equipped Ikigaï cottage. This original space, bathed in natural light, was conceived for calm and relaxation, with its large volumes, terrace, garden, fireplace, books, TV, music, kids toys... It is ideally located for climbers, hikers and tourists wishing to explore the region! A bliss throughout the year, enjoy the cool of the stones in the summer and the cosy warmth in the winter. The space The Ikigai cottage has a large ground floor living area built around a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, eating and living areas that open on large bay windows. Upstairs there is a cosy bedroom with a double-bed and a single bed, plus an office space and modern stone bathroom. Outside, you can have lunch on the terrace and enjoy the sunshine in a small part of garden, located at the beginning of our large family garden. Guest access By car, it's 5 minutes from the A6 motorway - Malesherbes / Ury exit and 12 minutes from Fontainebleau castle. The nearest train station is Bourron-Marlotte Grez. It's 1h from Paris - Tickets are 2.5€ - Pick-up possible to come car-less. Other things to note Local events: there is a lot of stuff happening in our area throughout the year, we'll be happy to recommend how to make the most of it! For babies & young kids: we have different high chairs, a foldable baby cot and a changing table. Just ask for them before your arrival. Climbers : Located in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, spots of Recloses, Dame Jouanne, l'Elephant are accessible on foot and all the others less than 20 minutes drive away! Services : Train station pickup, EV charging, late checkout, ... feel free to ask for things that would make your stay easier!
