During your stay English & Rusian speaking hosts will give information and can arrenge transportation and tours to the principal turist places Other things to note Jorge was a wonderful host who was very accommodating and welcoming when we stayed with him for a week in June. We were three girls from Australia, England and Spain and all felt so welcome in the house, so much so that it began to feel like our own. Whilst only Jorge lives in the house we had the opportunity to spend lots of time with his partner Tere and her two children, who were wonderful people to get to know. Every morning we had breakfast with Jorge and each evening we had a large dinner with the whole family. Jorge also let us use the kitchen whenever we wanted to cook something and we spent one evening making Quimbolitos -a typical Ecuadorean dessert- with the family. The rooms we stayed in were simple but adequate and the house is located in a nice area which is a 15 minute walk to the Old Town of Cuenca, Jorge had many recommendations for us and at the weekend drove us to Cajas National Park so we could explore the natural beauty outside of Cuenca. All in all we had a wonderful time staying with Jorge and looking forward to returning to Cuenca to see him again.
