Domaine de la Salamandre is located 35 minutes from Périgueux, in Auriac-du-Périgord. This peaceful retreat spans 41 hectares and is committed to self-sufficiency in water, energy, and waste recycling. We are dedicated to passing on values of respect for nature, the environment, and others to future generations. The property features a greywater recycling system and solar thermal panels. To cool off, you can enjoy a natural swimming pool based on phytopurification. Other things to note The room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. On the ground floor, there is a sofa bed for two, a small sitting area, and on the mezzanine, two 90 cm beds that can be combined into a large 180 cm bed. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate (bed linen not included). If you wish, you can rent a linen package with sheets and towels for a double bed, available for an extra fee. The dining room welcomes you each morning for breakfast. On request, a homemade dinner can also be arranged. An outdoor kitchen is available for preparing picnics and storing your food, equipped with a refrigerator and electric cooktop. Please note: the outdoor kitchen is accessible only from May to September. Certified organic since 2001, the estate offers farm products for sale, such as walnut oil and honey.
