Located in a quiet fishing village on the Shimane Peninsula, “Umi no Hanare” is a renovated traditional house offering a peaceful seaside stay. Just steps away, Konami Beach is known for its soft white sand made from crushed shells—one of Japan’s rare shell beaches. Accommodating up to 11 guests, it features five bedrooms, a spacious living area, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. The well-maintained garden offers a serene space to relax and enjoy the changing seasons.​ Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the entire house and garden. Check-in is self-service via smart lock, available after 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. You’re free to come and go as you please during your stay. Other things to note 🏨the Facilities and Your Stay ・The building has two floors and no elevator. Please note that the stairs are somewhat steep, so guests with large luggage or those who may have difficulty with stairs should take extra care. ・Please do not bring non-guests into the accommodation. ・If any stains on the beds, sheets, or other linens cannot be removed through normal washing, replacement costs may be charged. ・Please do not take any facilities equipment or amenities from the property. In the event of damage or loss, additional charges may apply. 🔥 Use of Fire Open flames, including campfires, candles, and charcoal grills, are strictly prohibited on the property. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring safety and protecting the natural environment. 🥩 BBQ Grill Rental (Reservation Required) Our facility offers a high-performance Canadian-made gas grill, Broil King Signet, for use in a designated outdoor area. If you would like to use it, please read the following details and make a reservation one week before your stay. Rental Includes: Gas grill with a dedicated propane cylinder Full set of grill tools (tongs, mesh grate, etc.) Table and chairs Rental Fee: ¥5,500 per night (tax included) Usage Hours: 17:00–21:00 (Strictly enforced) Usage Rules: Never leave the grill unattended while in use Be sure to fully extinguish the fire and clean up after use Use of personal or outside equipment is not allowed Please refrain from loud voices or playing music outdoors 🎆 Fireworks Fireworks are not allowed on the property. However, you may enjoy handheld fireworks only on the sandy beach at nearby Konami Beach, just a short walk away. Permitted Hours: 19:00–21:00 (Strictly enforced) Important Notes: No loud or explosive fireworks (e.g., aerial fireworks, firecrackers) Avoid loud voices and music Prepare water (e.g., a bucket) for fire safety Take all trash and firework debris home with you Do not use fireworks in strong winds or bad weather Please be respectful, as Konami Beach is a shared space with local residents. 🐝 Natural Environment Our facility is surrounded by forests and the sea, offering a rich natural setting. Depending on the season and weather, insects or small animals may appear. While we take preventive measures, we appreciate your understanding that staying here means coexisting with nature. 🚭 Smoking Policy Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building, including all types of tobacco (traditional and heated). If smoking inside is detected, additional cleaning fees for deodorization may be charged. Guests may also be charged for any damage caused by smoking, including stains on wallpaper or furniture, or damage resulting from improper handling of cigarettes. Please use the designated smoking area under the eaves where an ashtray is provided. Dispose of cigarette butts properly to help us maintain a clean environment. 🏘 Respect for Neighbors There are local residents living nearby. Please be especially mindful of noise after 9:00 PM. We encourage you to enjoy a peaceful and harmonious stay in consideration of the community. 🛒 Shopping Information There are no supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance of our facility. We recommend purchasing any food or daily necessities before your arrival. (For hygiene reasons, we do not provide shared condiments.)
